  • Fantastic

"What a wonderful condo. Everything was just perfect. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming down to Indian Shores. Great views and the owners Dan and Gina were great to work with. Plus having the elevator right by the car was tremendous. Thanks again for the hospitality."

  • Best Location and Well Maintained Condo

"Everything about this condo and working with Gail made for a stress free vacation! The condo has everything you need, is well maintained, clean, beautiful décor, and is easy to get to. The condo had a toddler chair, beach towels/chairs, and beach toys for my kids. The deck has ample seating and the view is amazing! The beach and pool are right there outside your door (the pool is cleaned every morning). There are also 2 grills by the pool. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook. The beds were so comfortable we had a hard time waking my kids up in the morning. I would recommend this condo and this location to anyone. Being just 20 minutes from the crowded area of Clearwater made all the difference for our vacation - yet we were still so close to everything. No crowds, just fun!! Gail was so easy to work with and was very informative/professional."

  • Wonderful family beach vacation!

"Our family stayed in this condo at Sandcastle II the end of May. We were looking for a location on the gulf that was not full of tourists and where the beach would not be crowded - we found it at Sandcastle II. The condo and the building were very clean. The building's maintenance man cleaned the pool, pool deck, elevator foyer and elevators every morning. The beach is very deep, giving plenty of room for people to spread out, so you are not tightly packed in. There are beach chairs and umbrellas in front of the condo available to rent for $25/day. But we also found several beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys in the storage closet on the balcony. Not far down the road is a place to rent kayaks, paddle boards and boats. The Pub restaurant is right across the street. Other restaurants are not too far from the condo. However, it seemed that at peak season, there may not be enough restaurants for the number of people staying in the area. We would recommend taking advantage of the poolside grills. Also, use Yelp for local restaurant reviews. We ate grouper sandwiches at Dockside Dave's which were very good and made with very fresh grouper. The pizza from Slyce Pizza Bar was very good. Keegan's Seafood Grille and Ippolito Italian Deli got very good reviews on Yelp. We went into Clearwater beach one night. It appears that there is only one way in and one way out and public parking is very limited. These factors could make it very time consuming to get in and out of Clearwater Beach during peak season. There is parking by the pier, although not much, street side metered parking, and small public lots. It was not peak when we were there and yet it was still challenging to find a place to park. I would recommend taking the Trolley, assuming it goes that direction. We chose Indian Shores because of it's proximity to the Tampa/Clearwater area and the multitude of things to do in the area. However, once we got there, we didn't want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation, the condo, the beach, and the beautiful view from the condo."

  • Nice vacation spot

"We stayed in this studio the first week of June, and it was exactly as shown in the pictures. The pool was huge and beautiful. There was a bad storm our second day, so being unfamiliar with Florida weather, we left for a night. This area did not flood, although other parts of Clearwater did flood. When we returned the pool had a lot of tree debris in it, and early the next morning it was being cleaned, and was perfect again. The front balcony overlooks the north end of the pool, as the picture shows. The size was fine for a couple, and the kitchen was complete, even a blender for smoothies. We used the stove and microwave, but did not need the oven or dishwasher. The beach was beautiful, just a short walk across the street; and there was also a large public beach with parking a few blocks down if you needed to bring a lot of stuff to the beach. If you like to swim in a really big nice pool, this is the place. We'll be back."
