  • 2016 Vacation w/the Family

"My husband and I and our 2 teenagers made our second family vacation to the Clearwater/Indian Shores area. The condo was very nice and gave us much more room than the hotel from the year before. The place was clean and comfortable. It included everything we needed for the week. The Sea Shell complex was very quiet and the neighbors were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed fishing from the dock on the intercoastal and just a short walk across the street put us right on the beach. Restaurants were close and made it a simple choice for dinner in the evenings. We also spent a fun day on a charter fishing trip with Bass N Bay's Capt. Brady. He is the best. Definitely recommend him for a half day of fishing near Bradenton. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I'm sure we will be back to visit soon."

  • Barefoot beach resort - spring break 2016

"Prior to arrival owners were very accommodating in answering all questions we had. Arriving and departing all went very smoothly. We did not need to contact owners at all during our stay. Beautiful beach access directly across the street and intercoastal water way on back side of condo kept our teenage boyz very busy with fishing. However, we flew so we did have to go buy all our equipment from poles, lures, etc. The resort does offer this equipment to guests but NOT VRBO guests. Actually front desk people at resort pretty rude and unfriendly. It is a well kept, clean great resort despite. Would have been nice to have some fishing equipment in condo for people to use. Great, new bait shop down the road called Shark tackle. Highly recommend him on gulf rd - not far from condo. Bed small and very uncomfortable for all week so would certainly suggest a queen or king sized more high end bed. Condo very clean and did have cooler and chairs and extra blankets, pillows. The condo we rented was right by road. Very very noisy. You could hear cars all night long. It was also hard during the beautiful days not to be able to open any windowns in the condo. Esp coming from Wisconsin and anticipating fresh air. Overall a good place to stay. Great for families of teenagers. Thank you"

  • Terrific condo!

"Just returned from a week in paradise! Maria's 3 bedroom condo is gorgeous. Very spacious with EVERY amenity. Bedrooms have ceiling fans, excellent beds and lots of storage. New sectional couch is comfy and large. Love the big balcony with its table and chairs and entrances from the living room and master bedroom. Gorgeous gulf views and perfect for watching all the fireworks on the beach for the 4th. Sandcastle 1 is located close to all the fun restaurants including homemade ice cream across the street! Beach service for chairs and umbrellas is available for a fee, but the condo had 3 beach chairs and an umbrella. The pool is great, but we rarely left the beach and that incredible gulf! Maria called twice to check on us, she's so nice! We loved our stay and are hoping to make staying here an annual event. Thank you for a perfect week, Maria!"

  • Nice Place

"The condo is beautiful, very nicely decorated. The beach was very close and it was nice to park under the building. One downfall is that it's actually on the 3rd floor, not really the 2nd, which means there are two full flights of stairs to lug everything up and down. It was nice to have linens provided, but some of the towels could have been a bit 'cleaner.' Many had stains and were somewhat dingy. The kitchen was nicely stocked and having a washer and dryer was a plus. It was too hot to enjoy the screened porch, but it was a nice area - even if it did face the highway. Another minor issue was that the code wasn't provided to us to get the keys from the lockbox before we arrived, and we could not get in the condo. After several phone calls to the owners, they finally answered and provided us with the information we needed. If we had not been able to reach them, I'm not sure what would have happened...but I don't think we would have been very happy. After contacting the owners though, they were very apologetic and all worked out well. I would not recommend this for a person that has trouble with stairs.G"
