  • A slice of heaven

"Stayed two weeks end of July-Aug. We were a family of 6 and there was definitely more than enough space. The condo was perfect....nothing too fancy...but it had everything you needed away from home. Rick was nice enough to lend up his beach tent and beach toys for my kids. The beach tent really came in handy because it was hot ! I must say, those beach noodles came in handy when I was floating around and relaxing on the beach. The beach.....oh what a stretch. The beach was clean, calm and not crowded.....at all ! The waters were very warm and we even saw dolphins not too far from us. We actually witnessed the hatching of sea turtles right by where we were sunbathing....it was incredible. My kids were thrilled to see the baby sea turtles make their way to the beautiful shore. The premises were nice and clean. Glad I went and stayed here....and will most likely do it again. Anyone with an oceanfront property as such...is very very fortunate. The only thing that I can admit to is that the parking garage is very low..... we were unable to park our truck in the lower parking garage addressed to our condo #. However, Peggy a super nice resident of that complex found us a vacant spot on the upper floor which was perfect in the end. Great vacation, great place, i'll be back !"

  • Another enjoyable stay

"We first stayed at Melissa's unit #39 in August 2014. We enjoyed it so much we returned again this year from July 29th to August 21st, 2016. Again, we had a great time. The 2 bedroom unit had everything we needed. Unlike most rental units, this one comes equipped with everything from laundry detergent to air-conditioning filters. The mattresses were upgraded since our last visit, and we purchased two additional beach lounging chairs which were left in the closet for other guests to use. Melissa is very accessible and responds very quickly with any questions you may have. If we're able to return to the Tampa Bay area next year, we would certainly arrange to stay once again at Sea Club unit #39."

  • Comfortable and relaxing

"This is our second year and planning on next year. Everything is updated. I would like to have the couch, chairs and beds in my home. Kitchen is above expectations. There is NO carpet. Sandy beaches and carpet do not mix. Instead, the condo has ceramic tile throughout. We spilled some sand at the entry but was able to clean up without problem. This is a clean and comfortable condo!!! Also, the building is well managed. I don't think the Garcia's have much to do with the management of the building but they did pick the right kind of management. I am proud to tell people where I vacationed."

  • Perfect for us!

"My family (wife, daughter 17, and 2 dogs of about 40 lbs each) stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in the area. The description and pictures from the listing are a good representation of the unit, though it's even better in person (I was a rock star in my family for finding this place!) For us, this was perfect: great views of the intracoastal, wonderful balcony, nice pier, large and well appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, good bathrooms, and living areas. The garage was a bonus surprise, with a lot of play toys to use (beach toys, beach chairs, fishing gear, etc). The location is great; off the road so we couldn't hear road traffic, little boat noise, we felt very safe in the location and whole complex in general, and there are plenty of things to do both north and south along the beach road. Communication with the owner was great (all that we needed to know and not too much), the codes to get in were set up just right so we didn't need to check in with some management office that was only open certain times of the day (great because we got delayed and showed up at 1am), and we received our deposit back within the 2 weeks after our stay (just as the owner said we would). The area was large enough that we had about 13 others over for dinner one night, and we easily managed that between the dining area, living area, and outdoor balcony, though there is limited parking for guests. If you or your dogs have issues going up stairs, you need to look somewhere else. This will certainly be the first place I look at next time we go back....... as long as the rest of you haven't booked it - which was the only reason I didn't want to write this review! :) For dog owners: you will need to talk to Bruce about your pets before he approves you, but this is not a big deal; he's very nice and easy about this (he just needs to make sure the condo rules are followed with pet size). There is a decent size yard next to the pier but the dogs have to be on leash (Bruce made us away of this before); if having to keep your dogs on leash every time they wanted/needed to go outside and down the stairs, and back up the stairs, etc is a problem for you (all the time), you may want to look elsewhere. Also dogs are not allowed (leash or not) on this entire strip of beach. So not many good places for long dog walks. I really doubt we would have found anything else on the beach island that could have been better for dogs, but I just wanted you to be aware of this."
