  • frequent area visitor

"We have rented many condos in the Indian Rock/Indian shores area due to elderly relatives in the area. This was the first time we rented on the intercoastal waterway rather than the beach. Every good statement written by previous reviewers is true. Here are some things not previously written. The complex is in a no wake zone, meaning less water noise and more time to view the boats. We were nervous about the bed as it is a queen size, normally we sleep in a king size bed. The mattress was so comfortable, size did not matter. The unit has parking in front near the elevator and the unit is next to the elevator. NO it was not noisy and it made it easier for elderly relatives to walk to unit. I would gladly rent this unit again if it is available."

  • Great location; lovely condo with spectacular views

"Spectacular views greet you as you enter the condo - of the beach and Gulf. Even the walk along the hall from the lift outside the condo is lovely with views out to the intercoastal. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the intercoastal from the little den and the sunset from our balcony overlooking the Gulf. The condo's main living area is compact, but we found it just right for 2 adults and a 10 year old. The den was a nice added extra where we could work on the computer as needed....handy if you have to work while you are there. The bedrooms are very large and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen I have ever encountered after 17 years of renting properties on IRB / Indian Shores (twice per year) - for this cook, it was a joy not to have to run out and buy things (or bring them from my parents' home nearby). Our only slight niggle was that we did have to do more clean up upon leaving than we normally have to do (example, strip the beds and put the sheets in the washing machine, sweep, etc -usually, this is covered by the cleaning fee, though I understand that turn around times can be tight - in other places, the cleaners bring in the new bedclothes and take away the old ones to wash in industrial washing machines.) As a result of that, we did have to start the process of leaving earlier (ie: the night before), because the checkout time is rather early at 10am (though check in is early too, at 2pm). Overall, this did not impact on our holiday much, we enjoyed our stay, and I would stay here again. I only mention it because if you are last minute in your approach to check out and/or messy and/or just really hate stripping beds and washing sheets, it might not be the place for you. But if you like great views, a well stocked kitchen, and comfy beds, then you'll like it. I think the trade off is worth it, but everyone is different. One other big positive that was unusual - there were several keys available, including one that could be left in a lock box so that you never had to worry about being locked out. This was particularly handy when going to the beach (didn't have to worry about bringing a key with you) or when my husband and I were going different places."

  • Very spacious, great location

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was very large and easily accommodated 3 families. The layout gave everyone plenty of space and separation. The dining table was large enough to easily seat 8 people. The furnishings were very comfortable. The balcony offered the greatest views. I have suggested they spend some dollars on kitchen accessories. Frying pans were dead and warped, we bought some to use during our stay. There was no welcome basket of snacks to tide over until we went to the store. Clothes washer was marginal and needed replacement. The garage IS a two car garage. There are some water toys in the garage. The beach was well maintained. Overall, I'd rent this unit again. We were there for two weeks and have stayed in Indian Shores several times at different condos."
