  • Amazing condo, beautiful location

"We've vacationed on the gulf coast over the years, this was our first in the Indian Shores area and we were not disappointed. The condo was amazing, it was beautifully decorated, beautiful beach, awesome view of the ocean, great pool area. We really felt at home as everything you needed was provided. The on site staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely will be return guests. As the back of the staff's shirts say, "they overlook nothing but the gulf"."

  • Perfect for us!

"My family (wife, daughter 17, and 2 dogs of about 40 lbs each) stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in the area. The description and pictures from the listing are a good representation of the unit, though it's even better in person (I was a rock star in my family for finding this place!) For us, this was perfect: great views of the intracoastal, wonderful balcony, nice pier, large and well appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, good bathrooms, and living areas. The garage was a bonus surprise, with a lot of play toys to use (beach toys, beach chairs, fishing gear, etc). The location is great; off the road so we couldn't hear road traffic, little boat noise, we felt very safe in the location and whole complex in general, and there are plenty of things to do both north and south along the beach road. Communication with the owner was great (all that we needed to know and not too much), the codes to get in were set up just right so we didn't need to check in with some management office that was only open certain times of the day (great because we got delayed and showed up at 1am), and we received our deposit back within the 2 weeks after our stay (just as the owner said we would). The area was large enough that we had about 13 others over for dinner one night, and we easily managed that between the dining area, living area, and outdoor balcony, though there is limited parking for guests. If you or your dogs have issues going up stairs, you need to look somewhere else. This will certainly be the first place I look at next time we go back....... as long as the rest of you haven't booked it - which was the only reason I didn't want to write this review! :) For dog owners: you will need to talk to Bruce about your pets before he approves you, but this is not a big deal; he's very nice and easy about this (he just needs to make sure the condo rules are followed with pet size). There is a decent size yard next to the pier but the dogs have to be on leash (Bruce made us away of this before); if having to keep your dogs on leash every time they wanted/needed to go outside and down the stairs, and back up the stairs, etc is a problem for you (all the time), you may want to look elsewhere. Also dogs are not allowed (leash or not) on this entire strip of beach. So not many good places for long dog walks. I really doubt we would have found anything else on the beach island that could have been better for dogs, but I just wanted you to be aware of this."

  • Great family vacation

"Our family stayed here in March 2016. The condo was clean and very spacious for us and our 3 kids. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we would need for the week, the dishwasher worked great (family staying in other units couldn't say the same). The pool is just a quick walk from the heated pool. The only thing i was wishing for was a drying rack for wet towels and bathing suits. Otherwise this was a great place to stay, we have already recommended it to other friends"

  • Barefoot beach resort - spring break 2016

"Prior to arrival owners were very accommodating in answering all questions we had. Arriving and departing all went very smoothly. We did not need to contact owners at all during our stay. Beautiful beach access directly across the street and intercoastal water way on back side of condo kept our teenage boyz very busy with fishing. However, we flew so we did have to go buy all our equipment from poles, lures, etc. The resort does offer this equipment to guests but NOT VRBO guests. Actually front desk people at resort pretty rude and unfriendly. It is a well kept, clean great resort despite. Would have been nice to have some fishing equipment in condo for people to use. Great, new bait shop down the road called Shark tackle. Highly recommend him on gulf rd - not far from condo. Bed small and very uncomfortable for all week so would certainly suggest a queen or king sized more high end bed. Condo very clean and did have cooler and chairs and extra blankets, pillows. The condo we rented was right by road. Very very noisy. You could hear cars all night long. It was also hard during the beautiful days not to be able to open any windowns in the condo. Esp coming from Wisconsin and anticipating fresh air. Overall a good place to stay. Great for families of teenagers. Thank you"
