  • A Wonderful Vacation Spot

"I was informed a couple weeks before our trip that Cherie, the very nice lady that I had been addressing my questions/concerns to for the past few months, was no longer employed with the rental company. Since I was now having to deal with someone new to me, there were a couple issues. Where Cherie had been handling any questions or issues up to this point, Brittany now felt I should contact the owner directly with questions/concerns instead of going through the rental company. Maybe that's the proper way, I don't know. I just felt like since Cherie had been handling everything for me, whoever was to take her place should continue to do so. And since I have never rented a condo before, I felt like the customer service was lacking a bit on Brittany's part. Although I felt a little put off by her attitude, Brittany did come through in the end. Anyway..... The condo is absolutely beautiful and just steps from the beach. Most everything you need is provided as far as dishes, linens, towels, etc. You will need things like trash bags, dish and laundry detergent, hand soap, toilet paper, etc. If you forget anything, there is a Winn Dixie and a Publix right down the road. A word of advice: if anyone intends on sleeping on the couch, bring a couple blankets. The air blows right toward the couch, so it stays a little chilly. 2 keys are provided to the condo. After noticing that one of ours didn't work, we called the rental office. A lady soon there after, brought us a working key and was super nice. The only complaint we had as far as cleanliness was the lamp shades and overhead lighting, which was very thick with dust. There were a couple of things broken that the owner was in the process of repairing, but nothing that took away from our wonderful vacation. There is a pool on the property, as well as grills. There are chairs and umbrellas on the beach if you are interested in renting them. People do fish on this beach, so you may think about bringing water shoes. I do want to say that the owner was very kind and accommodating. She was nice enough to purchase us a parking pass for the week since we were bringing 2 vehicles. We had an awesome week and hope to stay in your condo again in the future. Thank you MJ for everything."

  • a warm welcome awaits

"We spent a lovely 5 days in unit 5 cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The managers Imre and his wife Maria couldn't have been more welcoming and even asked us to come back for Thanksgiving dinner. Highly recommend."

  • Great vacation at "our" condo....again!

"We have stayed at 108 for the last four years and this year was probably the best. We love the open, spaciousness of the condo and the privacy that the bedroom(s) layout provides. I can't say enough about the kitchen gadgets and utensils! It's not hard to have two or three "chefs" working in the kitchen at the same time getting things prepared to fatten us all up. We had several friends stay at various other condos at Las Brisas and another dear friend at MBYC, but 108 seemed to be the gathering spot. The large dining room table helped with that aspect as it seats 6-8 very comfortably with even more seating space at the long kitchen counter. Winn Dixie is within walking distance which lent to some great meals, most of which were grilled near the Tiki Hut on the large propane grills (grilling utensils are in the condo). All dinners were served (in the multitude of wine glasses in the condo) with various wines we also found at the Winn Dixie. True civilization exists when you can buy your groceries and adult beverages in the same store. There's also a Treasure Chest on the balcony that holds every manner of beach entertainment you can imagine...chairs, floats, toys, noodles, etc. We might be retired or close to it, but we're kids at heart. Three TV's and a nice stereo made for everyone to enjoy what they liked in the evenings. The balcony looks directly over the pool which is perfect to keep everyone involved in the fun even if you're not in the water. Past the pool is the beach where we spent a lot of time watching for dolphins, fishing or just relaxing with a cold one in hand. John's Pass is a short distance from Las Brisas which offers restaurants, bars, tons of shopping, boat tours, etc. Across the street from Las Brisas are two bars/restaurants that serve from morning until night...always a nice option when the "chefs" need a break. We've come to think of the owner as a friend who enjoys his condo almost as much as we do! <wink> He's also very on top of any issues that might arise during your stay. When the owner takes pride in a property, so should you. This is a great place to enjoy your vacation! See you next year!"
