  • April 2016 Stay

"Another terrific vacation at the Surf Song, we have enjoyed many at this resort! The facility is so clean and extremely well maintained. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with all amenities required. Pool is amazing and beach second to none! Only drawback is the smoking in the patio and tanning bed area is overwhelming, no regard to non smokers!"

  • October 2016 Stay

"We have enjoyed staying at Surf Song for the past 8+ years. This unit has by far been the best experience for our family. The unit was very clean and the remodel was awesome. I am in love with the dining room table, I want one at home. It was very nice in the evening having a tv in the bedrooms and the living area. We were able to turn something on for the kids to settle down to while we watched sports, the debate, etc. As always the pool is the best on the strip. Lots of space and very well kept. Anytime we talk about vacations or have friends or family talk about vacations we suggest this complex. We have stayed in a different unit every time we have been here and have never been disappointed"

  • Villa Madeira Condo #303

"The condo was amazing and provided a great experience for my family and I during our stay. The condo was right on the beach, the balcony giving a beautiful view. The beach is outside the condo and stepping outside you will set foot on the white sand (extremely soft!). There are multiple other apartments and hotels that say they are on the beach but many are not directly on the beach and are 'walking distance' from the beach, but this is right on the beach which is extremely convenient. The beach is extremely private (though there is public access, it is not crowded whatsoever) and a nice change from the extremely crowded Clearwater Beach that is a popular tourist attraction. There is a heated pool right next to the building overseeing the beach and is really nice. We visited in the winter (December) and it was extremely warm outside- high 70's low 80's and very sunny. The water in the sea was not too cold and it took only a few minutes to get used to it. The only thing to remember is that to get into the pool or the beach, there are locked gates and you need to carry the keys (that you will be given) around or you will have to wait for someone to let you in. We explored multiple other beaches but found that except for the beach on Egmont Key Island (which is found by taking a ferry from the Fort de Soto park, the ferry costing $70 + $5 to get into the park for the four of us) did not match to the one in our very own "backyard". Clearwater beach is an extremely popular beach but did not offer anything extra and parking was very difficult to find and not worth the beach which was crammed and the actual Fort de Soto Park (not the aforementioned island) was just as nice but don't forget to bring your own chairs and umbrellas as it is $20 to rent them for the day. The owners have provided a beach umbrella and multiple chairs and beach toys but the rules are set extremely clear to not lose them (or an outrageous fee will be charged to your card) and to make sure to wash off the sand. The fee is also applied to every single towel and accessories that will be provided and there are multiple warnings that remind you of this. This is understandable as the condo was very well kept and included everything that you could think of (the only exceptions we found that they did not provide were garbage bags, detergent and soap/conditioner). The three bedrooms are very nice and the master bedroom has a gorgeous view of the water from the balcony which is also able to be acce"

  • Awesome vacation

"My family of 5 absolutely loved this condo. Large open concept was great. Kitchen was well equipped. Location to John's Pass was nice. Especially loved the balcony overlooking the gulf. Enjoyed morning coffee watching the Dolphins and the beautiful sunsets. The beach/pool accessories were used daily. The only negative was the elevator which was hot and slow. This would not stop me from coming back. We all hope to return next summer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo!"
