  • Perfect place to stay

"We have stayed at several different places in the area and this was by far the nicest. The condo was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Beach access was great. Enjoyed the pool and the covered area to get out of the sun. Just a short distance to our favorite shopping spot, John's Pass. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Great place to bring family together. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay there again."

  • Ideal Location

"Sue was extremely easy to work with and response time was very quick. Clearwater Beach is very "spring breaky", while Sand Key is 2 miles south across the bridge and very relaxing. This put us close enough to ride our bikes around Clearwater if we wanted to, but we didn't have to deal with all the crowds all the time. The pool/grill area was great and very well kept, and the PRIVATE beach was exceptional. Every unit in the building faces the ocean, so the views are spectacular. The property is gated with security guards on duty 24/7, and they even walk the ground. I felt so comfortable I would just leave our mountain bikes in the bed of my truck not even locked up. There is a convenience store and deli directly across the street, which we didn't think would matter a ton, but it turned out to be EXTREMELY CONVENIENT! I forgot a few things and throughout the week needed some other things and I just walked across the street. Did I mention the private beach you can just walk out to?? Most places in Clearwater have "close beach access" where you are within walking distance to a public beach, but you may have to walk a block or 2 or go across streets or deal with RIDICULOUS crowds. Here you can walk out of the building and be on the beach within a minute! May take you a couple minutes to walk all the way to the water because the beach is huge. Its great not having to deal with parking, and then lugging all your beach stuff down, etc etc. Just stumble down there and if you forget something or need to use the restroom, you can just go right back up to your room. Courtesy shower on the wooden walkway leading down there as well as the pool area if you wanna lounge at the pool after the beach. Pool and hot tub are lighted, so it made for a great night time lounging at the pool. We didn't go to any other beaches the entire time we were there. Saw tons of dolphins, and even a manatee came right up to the beach. Grills were great, as we grilled some fresh fish that we caught after a great day of fishing, and everything I needed to cook my own fish I got at the convenience store. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Great unit, great complex, great owner.

"My family of five had a fantastic time in this condo. Initially I was a bit concerned about staying in a larger complex (60 units instead of the 4 unit ones that we have rented in the past) but now I don't know what I was worried about. This was by far the quietest condo we have stayed in and there was just enough people to chat with around the pool, which was full at times but never over crowded. The beach in front of this condo is amazing! It has the most gradual slope and when its low tide you can wade out to a really cool sandbar. Of the five condos we have rented in the area this was by far the cleanest and most well kept. The owner, Marci, is friendly and super easy to work with. The location is great, centered between Clearwater and Madeira Beach. If you want to parasail or jet ski, John's Pass in Madeira is a great choice, less crowded and less expensive than Clearwater. There are lots of great restaurants just a short drive from the condo: Light House Donuts, Crabby Bill's, PJ's, and The Pub are a must for us. Honestly, I can't say enough about this property, we loved it and plan to go back next summer."

  • T&K from MO

"This is a wonderful unit that will be great for most anybody. Well equipped, and operated by folk who want you to enjoy the stay! Had a couple of minor things, but was super impressed with how quickly they were resolved. Helen is on top of everything. Had multiple visits by kids and grand kids, and bedrooms accommodated us all. Sand Castle is not new, but everything about the property is spot on. From the pool to the outstanding beach, hard to not have a good time. Highly recommend!"
