  • Perfect Spring Getaway at New Port Ritchey

"We stayed at this property for the last week of March 2017 with another family of 4 and had a perfect time. The house fit our needs perfectly - four bedrooms, 3 baths, and a WARM POOL! We had all the tools we needed to cook some nice meals "at home" to save on some expenditures and the Publix and Walmart are only a few miles away to gather up supplies. We loved the bikes for little rides around the neighborhood! We spent a day at Honeymoon Island and it was well worth it. . . walked the beach, played in the water and caught some rays. There was a small fee to enter but totally worth it, and even a little snack counter there if we needed a little extra something. We spent another day down at Clearwater Beach and that was another perfect day in the sun and fun. . . a must see. We were able to catch a Spring Training game of Phillies vs Yankees that was fun to watch and only about a 30 min drive south in Clearwater as well. Overall - don't hesitate to book this house. I am very particular about where I stay and it was really great and would book again for sure! Pros: -soft beds -clean house -warm pool -dolphin watching right off the dock (best surprise by far) -fishing -Mike the manager is so helpful!! -location was perfect and many great bars right on the canal for great dinner and drinks -washer/dryer was great to keep our laundry under control! Cons (and truly, I am reaching for these): -Although the owner cannot do anything about this - there are gnats out at night and we did get 'eaten alive'. My husband has about 30 bites on one arm alone. We went to Walmart and got some citronella candles and that helped out tremendously! Pack lightweight long sleeves to cover up at night. -lighting and light switches were confusing - maybe they could be labeled better. It took us a few days to figure them all out. -missing dish towels for washing and drying dishes, we bought some at Walmart -only one television worked (would have been nice to have one or more in the bedrooms or basement but we really didn't use the TV much) Go ahead and book this house! You'll make memories to last a lifetime just like we did!"

  • The perfect location.

"This property was perfect for our weeks stay! The house itself was very nicely appointed and was better than any hotel. We cooked dinner almost every night including Sea Trout we caught on a 1/2 day fishing charter nearby and great steaks from Publix supermarket which is a mile away. The pool was a must for us and our son had a ball playing in it every day. We fished off the dock and caught some tiddlers and relaxed in the sun on the dock furniture. We drove to Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Busch Gardens and Clearwater. We had all he vacation fun of Tampa Bay, but got to enjoy the relaxing, quiet beauty of New Port Richey. We're already talking about coming back next year. Michael we responsive when we had questions and checked in a couple of times to see how things were going. We went to Walmart when we arrived to buy some cheap fishing equipment and some pool toys. For less than $40 my son had fun all week long. We were sad to say goodbye once the week was over."

  • Fabulous time in Mar 2017

"The house is decorate so cute and was stocked with everything we needed. Our pets enjoyed their time in NPR too. The park nearby was great for walking each day for exercise! The Chasco Fiesta came to town while we were there and got to see a GREAT car show...taking lots of photos. The location was close to every place we needed or wanted to go. If you decide to rent here, you must go to the Fish Guy for a super meal of your liking (assuming you like fish). Can't say enough good things about this rental home and we would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!"

  • Cute property and excellent owner response!

"We stayed here for the month of February and the weather was perfect!. This cottage was fine for the two of us, as well as our dog. We loved all the windows that allowed the light to pour in. It sits on a quiet street that is within walking distance of a view of the water. There are benches and picnic tables where you can watch the boats and wildlife and even fish. There is a beautiful park not far from the house, as well. Restaurants are convenient. The house is in an old residential area and is not near "touristy" activities. Driving to any attraction takes time since the main roads are very busy. We have the highest praise for the owner, Heather. She was prompt with replies during the booking process and was very attentive to our needs while we were in her house. She is what all rental property owners should aspire to be!"
