  • Florida fun

"We stayed at this house with our family to help our family move from one home into another in the area. The house was a great size and we had plenty of room for visiting. Spending time out by the pool and swimming was fun, the pool temperature was perfect! The house is close to amenities, grocery stores and shopping malls. It was a fairly quick drive and very easy to the really nice beaches south of the house."

  • We had a blast!

"My family booked this home as a post Christmas getaway. It was great. All of the photos and descriptions were accurate. We were a bit hesitant to book a property fresh on the market with zero reviews. The home owner was in contact with us after the initial booking. They answered all of my questions in the months leading up to our trip. They met us at the property to show us around, the first day. They addressed any and all concerns we had through out our stay. We are a midwest couple with children 8 and 6. The purpose of this trip was to relax and see a few sites. This property did not disappoint. I was a little worried the kids would tear something up. The house is not your typical "rental". It is clean! I was able to walk in the garage, driveway, you name it in my socks. All of the fixtures are nice. You do not feel like you are in a rental. The neighborhood is nice. The neighbors are not upset its a rental. The house is close to any grocery store or restaurant you could want. It is not located on a major street. There are no sounds at night (Jan 1- 6). The private beach is clean and close by (you have to drive). The only caveat "you have to be out when the top of the sun hits the water". You will want to stay for the sunset. The rear of the house faces the canals that go to the gulf. There is little traffic and the water is calm. The pool was a bit chilly for me but the kids loved it. Here are some approximate winter travel times we experienced Tampa Int Airport 45min Lego land- Winterhaven 2hrs Clearwater marina 1hr Frank Howard Park 25min Lake Panasoffkee 1hr *Edit* We received our damage deposit back the day after I submitted my original review. When we return to Florid we will definitely be back!"

  • Great rental. Clean and bright. Great owners!

"We are spending the month of Feb. at this property. It is wonderful. As other reviews indicate, it is well supplied, very clean, neat, bright and comfortable. We are very pleased. It is roomier than the pictures show. We love the backyard and canal with herons flying in and out! The bikes work great, the grill works great. This home has everything! We were glad to find a really nice place that accepts pets. Our little Boston Terrier was comfortable here. We liked the area and felt safe walking around the neighborhood. We can't say enough nice things about Steve and Ada. They have been wonderful. We added a few new menus, maps and flyers in the house book. There are lots of nice places to eat, drink, watch the sunset, etc nearby. Thank you for helping to make our trip memorable."

  • Great family vacation!

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this house. It was very clean and the layout was fantastic. I loved having two separate sitting areas and an open layout. My 8 year old son had a blast fishing from the dock. The pool was fantastic and it was so cool to be able to see the canal from the pool. The dock is fantastic and the outdoor furniture was just amazing. The owner was very quick to respond and answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this house. It has been beautifully remodeled. I have to admit the shower was my absolute favorite thing. The house in itself is a vacation. The sunsets from the dock or pool were phenomenal. Oh and make sure to go to Tarpon Springs. The sponge history is fascinating and Rusty Bellies is a must for waterfront dining!"
