"If you want a true vacation this is the place to go! This home was breathtaking! The views where incredible! My husband and I took our three boys to this beautiful home. We didn't want a theme vacation, we wanted to spend time together as a family. This house had everything! Fishing off the dock was incredible! The kids didn't know what they were going to pull out of the sea. We had a crane come everyday that sat and watched the boys fish. They named him Franklin! Come to find out his name is Bob. We rented a boat not even five minutes from the house. It was perfect because my husband would pull up to the dock so we could load our stuff and off we went to explore the ocean. Brent thank you so much for everything!! We would love rent again next year."

  • Nature’s tranquilizer

"We rented this home for a month; the only negative comment I have is that our time is almost up and we must leave. What you see in the listing pictures is what you get, an older, smaller home that is very, very roomie well maintained and has been up-dated very nicely. The house has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. It had all the dishes, silverware, towels, TVs everywhere; neighbors on both sides were both helpful and extremely friendly. What you can’t see in the pictures is how nice it is to relax, watch TV and eat every meal on the porch that is covered by a enormous shade tree; the delightful breeze that pampers you 85% of the time. We loved it! Oh, we are retired so relaxing comes real easy! My wife and I loved sunsets at the private beach club; it has parking, clean rest rooms, barbeques, covered tables, sun and sand. Everything you bring to the beach must be plastic no glass! Put your liquids in plastic; use the plastic glasses provided by the house. The beach closes at sundown due to insurance requirements. You don’t want to miss sunset from Gulf Harbor Beach Club this time of year (June) roughly 8:30pm! US 19 provides all the shopping you could ever need, on the water restaurants are too numerous to mention, Publix is on US 19 just outside of Gulf Harbor. Everything is very convenient. In spite of the fact our family has lived on the water for >15 years, I probably spent two of the four weeks sitting at the water’s edge, on the seawall; watching the docks and boats rise and fall with the changing tide, seagulls and the large cranes flying on and off the property and my grandsons catching fish off the dock. One night we even had Mangrove Snapper “sliders” for dinner. Being a poor sleeper; I spent many mornings watching the sun come up, seeing the very large stratus clouds out over the gulf slowly dissolve as they reached the heat of land turning the skies clear and beautiful. I’m sure nature intended this as our tranquilizer, it’s mine for sure."

  • Enjoyable

"We shared with another couple enjoyed the comfortable and well equipped home. Guys tried fishing on canal while girls enjoyed relaxing by heated pool which was my favorite part. Didn't realize the one bathroom had a jacuzzi tub with no shower though. The beach is not far to enjoy as well. Shopping is close by and many restaurants. Would definitely rent again."
