  • A week of memories on Sunset Beach

"Nice and clean condo making it a really great vacation. So close to the beach and other things. Will return in the future."

  • Lovely view, clean with updated kitchen, well stocked with the essentials.

"Only complaint - one sofa cushion had smelly feet odor and master bedroom closet had a foul smell, probably from the bedding stored there. Need to wash both. Fix those two items and we'll stay again."

  • Loved this dog-friendly getaway home

"We had a wonderful time over Memorial Day Weekend with our two dogs. The home is perfectly located near a Winn Dixie (groceries), several delicious restaurants, the beach, etc. It's well decorated, with soft sheets (most rentals have sandpaper sheets, but this place was comfy!) and has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking (if you desire). Washer Dryer in the unit was handy as well, and on cool nights the fire pit table was perfect! There was even a dog beach just south of Caddy's where our hounds had a blast running along the waves. Crabby and Ginny were wonderful and checked in on us nearly every morning to see if we had questions or needed assistance with anything. There was plenty of room and privacy in this unit. The hot tub is within the Lanai now, so it wasn't out in the hot sun. We enjoyed it! There were plenty of interesting birds and fish out by the dock, we got some great photographs. Having the dog park right next door was really convenient also! We dined at Berns Steakhouse in Tampa (celebrating a birthday), Crabby Bills (it's an annual tradition), Nina's Cafe on the Beach, Nikko Mussolini's Dog Bar and Boutique, Nori Thai, Sea Hags, Conch Republic Grill, ordered Pho & Thai food from Asian House Restaurant delivery, and taco pizza from Hungry Howies, SO many delicious options. We meant to go to Jackie's for Sunday brunch but didn't quite make it there. Suggestions: We never could really get the WIFI to work, I got on once for maybe 5 minutes, then it lost signal again. We gave up on the WIFI after day 2 of repeated trying. Repair may be needed for master bdrm ceiling fan (wobbled a lot and hangs low, so we didn't use it), and the master bath ceiling fan didn't work at all, might just be an electrical issue. The Screen porch/Lanai area could probably use a ceiling fan or even a portable box fan to help circulate the air on hot days. The first two days there was a nice cross breeze through the porch, but the latter few days were pretty stifling until the sun went down. The front door has an automatic lock, which *does work* but you have to lean on the door a bit (not push in too far though), to get the deadbolt to line up with the hole for both locking and unlocking it. We ended up using the spare key more often than using the auto-lock feature. However, despite these minor hiccups we had a very lovely stay and look forward to renting this unit again next time we are vacationing in the area."

  • Piece of paradise

"This is the 6th season we have stayed in this condo. The owners make sure they keep unit clean updated and well supplied with bedding, towels, and kitchen equipment. It is a pleasure to cook in the kitchen while you are looking out on the turquoise Gulf! Every Friday fresh fish comes in to the Merry Pier which is right down the street on the bay side of Pass A Grille. From this pier you can charter fish boats, or take the beautiful sunset cruise. If you don't feel like cooking there are great shops and restaurants close by. Some are even walking distance. We walk across the street where there are tents set up with jewelry and artwork and music playing every weekend at the beach. There is also a grill there has great breakfasts, cold drinks and great grouper sandwiches. The sunsets every evening from our terrace are amazing.. Amy the property manager is a pleasure to work with. Pass A Grille is a warm laid back little town that we look forward to coming to all year."
