  • Nice roomy well supplied..very spacious comfy condo. Clean maintained grounds

"Our family of 5 adults one which was wheelchair bound and one infant stayed 7 days in this spacious clean comfy condo. Connie the owner was awesome to work with. I emailed and phoned her a few times with questions and concerns she returned them immediately. We loved the Master suite..it was completely separate from the other two bedrooms which was important.since we had our infant grandson with us..we never heard him keeping his parents up . Over all the beds were good..they have memory toppers. the kitchen was well equipped we cooked in a lot. The only thing missing was a silicone whisk.I would also love to see a small waffle maker..lol. The keurig was a huge hit with my daughter..good one Connie!! The condo was decorated minimal..but nicely. We all were able to sit and watch tv with the awesome leather sectional sofa, And let me tell you..the recliner was a hit with the guys...more condos need to have recliners..men love them at home and away..hint hint other owners!!!!. The Patio over looking the gulf was wonderful..and loved the table and chairs...great place to eat. We also loved sitting on the patio in the evening listening to the waves and snoozing. The walls and ceiling were noise proof enough not to really be bothered by others. Although when we were there the ride tide was in and it was not possible to enjoy the beach and ocean, it was still an awesome vacation..thank goodness for the pool!!!. Ladies in the office..yall rock!!!. I wish there were more polite..courteous people like yall. If your considering this condo..look no farther...book it you wont be disappointed..my husband loved it..and hes PICKY. Thanks so much Connie.for sharing this home with my family...until next time!!!!!!!!! The Millers"

  • Best Vacation Ever!!

"The house was beautiful, the most amazing views of the beach. It was like being on our own private little island. Everything you need is in the home and Suzann is awesome , we had the privilege of meeting her and she was always responsive to calls and texts. . We found shells, and saw dolphins every day. Thank you for this wonderful time. We will definitely be back. Everything was perfect."

  • pleasant place to stay

"Pieces of Eight was just what I was looking-for - an economical place to stay with the basic needs for home-style living. The motels in the under $100.00/day category are mostly dumps and you only get a bed(s) and a bathroom. I have visited this area many times over the years and places like this along the beach are pushing their prices too high. Our accommodations were small, but clean and we had everything we needed there,: a bed for two in a bedroom and a pull-out couch in the living/dining area. The fridge and stove worked and we had all the dishes, pots and pans we could use as well as small appliances. The TV was small but where you sit is so close it doesn't matter :-) and there was a working PVR there so that I could record any shows I wanted to watch later. The two air conditioners worked well and were more than enough to cool-off this space....plus there were three ceiling fans to help move the air. Water pressure was good. I liked the courtyard and the shade that the trees provided. There was a BBQ available in the second courtyard, along with a table and chairs....unfortunately it was so hot the week we were there that I couldn't bear to use them! The only thing that I suggest is that Steve have some ventilation installed in the bathroom, to pull-out all that moisture from people having a shower. That will help the a/c unit in the bedroom do its job without working 'over-time'. Owner Steve was around every day working around the place and always available for help or just a talk. If something like a light bulb needs replacing when Steve is not around and you don't mind doing it yourself, just go to the laundry room and get one; there are supplies in there. It was handy having the beach right across the street. There are few good restaurants within a reasonable walking distance or a less-than-five-minute drive, and two really good places for ice cream. So, if you don't require all-new hotel-style furniture and amenities or a large living space, Pieces of Eight is a good place to stay at a reasonable price."
