  • Wonderful stay !

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay here! For two persons it's really georgious. It is a very nice beach house (although there is no beach... ;-)), fully equipped with everything you need. Thanks for the bottle of wine and the tea and coffee supply. Darryl is a great owner who answers very fast. (Had a little trouble to get in when we arrived two hours early. Darryl fixed this within seconds! Thanks again!) If we should come to the Tampa Bay area during a next vacation, we would love to stay here again! Greetings from Germany! Anne and Michael And here are the main facts for your German customers: Tolle Strandwohnung für 2 Personen, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht! Es gibt zwar keinen Strand, aber vom Dock aus gehts ins warme Wasser zum Schwimmen. Eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung auf dem Tisch, ebenso Kaffee und Tee. Der Vermieter Darryl ist großartig, immer ansprechbereit, antwortet auf Mails innerhalb weniger Minuten. Sollten wir noch einmal in die Gegend um Tampa Bay kommen, werden wir garantiert wieder hier Station machen."

  • A Quaint House Among the Giant Oaks

"I needed a place to stay for over 6 months, and it was more difficult than I expected to find a place until I found TJ's home. He was extremely welcoming and accommodating to me and my 4-legged baby, my German Shepherd, Tina. The house was the perfect size. If you're looking for a place to lay your head while you go out and explore all the greater Tampa area has to offer, this place is perfect for you. Use the location as a "base camp" and enjoy the wonderful beaches. A pet friendly beach I frequented was Ft. DeSoto Beach. The neighborhood of Old Seminole Heights is timeless. The neighborhood itself is full of friendly neighbors, beautiful oak trees, the Hillsborough River, and a true sense of relaxation. I used the house as my home for six months, and because it was only me, I didn't have to fight with anyone for the one bathroom. However, that doesn't mean it won't work for you and your party of 4 (or more)! Tina enjoyed the newly installed doggy-door so she could go outside to sunbathe in the fenced backyard or chase off unsuspecting squirrels. The majority of my time I cooked on the wonderful gas stove. The house is also perfect for entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed the local watering holes: Ella's and The Rooster and the Till were my favorite. I am truly grateful I rented from TJ. Whenever I had a minor issue, he was very responsive and would fix whatever needed to be fixed. The small garage was a great place to store my motorcycle, and he was willing to put a lock on it. I highly recommend this quaint bungalow in historic Tampa for your visit to the area!"

  • A Central Cottage

"What a nice place. It's comfortable, clean, quiet and central to everything. The owner lives in an attached but separate part of the property, so you maintain your privacy but have the owner near should anything need attention. The backyard is a little garden. Well maintained, too. Parking is off-street. I highly recommend you stay there except for when i return. First dibs!"
