  • Great Vacation

"We spent a week at Rose and Captain Ron's Creekside house. The first few days were really rainy so the board games and big screen TV's kept us occupied. The movie theater is 25 minutes away in Crystal River and the mermaid show at Weeki Wachee is about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. The rain finally cleared and Captain Ron showed us how to get our boat out to the gulf ( Mason Creek is very shallow). We had a great time scalloping. The screened hut on their dock was a great spot to clean the scallops. The house was very comfortable and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of parking (we had 5 cars and a boat). The neighborhood is very quiet. The yard has a fire pit and a gas grill. Rose and Captain Ron checked on us several times and were very helpful. I definitely recommend a stay here."

  • Paradise!

"Fabulous place to unwind and enjoy great family time. The owners of this house pay attention to details to make your stay more enjoyable. Several bikes that vary in size and variety with surrounding area with great trails very near the home. Kayaks were a great bonus, fishing dock was great also. Palm Harbor is small town hidden with fabulous restaurants, brewery's and many eccentric little shops. The pass to the state honeymooners beach is gorgeous. Make sure you visit a near by Jupiter donut company, homemade doughnuts, apple fritters, and much more made daily. Go early when the baskets are empty they are done for the day. Fabulous House and hope to return soon."

  • fun Xmas in Ybor historic district

"Just returned from four nights in Casa Bella over Xmas holiday. Check in was a breeze and we were allowed early check in. The owner was easy to contact and responded immediately when we forgot the WiFi code. The house is spacious and very comfortable. We had our annual family Xmas day brunch for 10 and found ample space for everyone. Comfortable beds, nice linens, very clean, great ac, super convenient location ( though right now there is considerable construction going on at the nearest cross street.) Parking is easy with a driveway and plenty of space out front as well. The negatives are a poorly stocked kitchen, so if you are planning on cooking in or entertaining, you'll be a bit challenged... frying pans cheap and need of replacing, no mixer, blender, baking pans, practically nonexistent knives,.. just a general inattention to replacing or stocking the nice sized kitchen with basic necessities. The back yard has a nice sitting area but is unkempt. There are houses very close to you especially a little guest house only separated by your back yard fence..not a big problem except for late night partying ,comings and goings, underneath our bedroom window. There is also a night club that stays rocking and extremely loud until past three am on weekends ( as well as Xmas night) that kept us awake..but then that is common in Ybor. We enjoyed our stay, the home is charming, if lacking some basic maintenance ..."

  • Comfortable, Clean, Calming

"An absolutely beautiful view of sunset over the Gulf of Mexico and a wonderful "Good Morning" scene with the sun rise. An easy 1/2 mile walk to the end of the island is good exercise. The private beach is an awesome place for quiet contemplation, reading a book, enjoying the dolphins paying in the cove, or picking seashells. The deck is a great place to gather for a late afternoon drink while watching the sunset. There are several fine restaurants within 10 miles with Italian, Japanese, Latin or American cuisines. And best of all a local family owned seafood market for the very freshest and best of Florida gulf seafood."
