  • No worries...reputable, lovely stay!

"I had not rented a property before an I was quite anxious about paying ahead of time, but there is no need to worry here. Everything worked like clockwork. We had local contacts for help if needed! The pool is absolutely fantastic...perfect temperature. We swam all day, all week. The living room furniture is super comfortable there is a "great room" open concept kitchen, livingroom and dining area. The backyard is very tropical and there is an amazing swing to sit in that elevates your feet (like a reclining chair) and is right on the edge of the bay. The only thing to note is that the rental contract states that you can't turn the thermostat lower than 75 degrees...it got very hot at night, especially upstairs and you can't turn it to be cooler, according to the rental agreement. It was not a game changer for us, but unused to such a warm house at night, it was a bit uncomfortable. I consider this place to be a very nice value for money and definately worth the money...it made for a lovely week for the family. I would check the house before buying supplies, as people may have left things that you can use (Saran wrap, gabage bags, napkins, etc.). They have a lot for you to use, such as beach towels, blankets, laundry detergent, etc. You really can come with only a few things packed! The pool also has a super shallow end, so if you have toddlers, you could have them spash around in it safely(as long as you guarded the drop off). Really the nicest pool I have been in. Hot tub was fantastic as well."

  • A wonderful family vacation

"Where do I begin? We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm. Wendy met us on her golf cart (getting we all the while) to show us where to park the boat trailer, where to put the boat in the slip, the trailer where we were staying, etc. Then, she even offered to take the boat ride from the Gulf side where I put in, to the Atlantic side where it would stay tied up. It was only a 25 minute ride or so, but it was raining all the while. What a sport! We had little car troubles and she was able to recommend a reliable mechanic down the street. So helpful. The trailer is right off the water. There are only two other places that are between you and the Atlantic Ocean, but you will have a beautiful view from your backyard. It's shallow and the kids loved swimming there, playing with crabs on the wall, and just having fun in the water. I fished daily. It was windy and not easy to find the big game fish. Luckily on the fifth day, things started looking up and we were able to catch lots of keeper fish. Snappers, an Amber Jack, Hogfish, etc. We also snorkeled over the reef that was a few miles out. There are buoys you tie up to (Tie your boat rope up to their buoy rope - they ask you to use about 6 foot of your rope when tying up.) and just float on the water looking down at all the beauty. Be sure to have a dive flag. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back and see you again."

  • Spectacular views and location...

"My husband and I just spent five days at Ocean Dream. The views were amazing and the area was extremely quiet and convenient to all points of interest. Just a two hour drive south to Key West, three miles to Founder's Park if you are looking for white sandy beaches and the glass bottom boat tours at John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park (Key Largo) is a must. Beti was great to work with and we are looking forward to returning."

  • PARADISE FOUND!!

"What an Amazing Property and Amazing trip!! We stayed at SanRoc for our Spring Break trip to the Keys and it was everything we were looking for. It truly is a Beautiful property. If you are looking to be able to kick back and just relax this is the place. We were traveling with 3 kids, 2 parents and 2 grandparents and it was perfect for all ages. The house was just the perfect size and had everything we needed. The backyard is huge and when the kids were not in the pool they could run around and throw the frisbee or ball around. You feel completely secluded, like you are on your own estate and when you leave you are literally minutes from anything you need, restaurants, entertainment, shopping. The view from the back balcony is postcard perfect and the pool and hot tub are AWESOME!! Fished off the dock and watched the boats go by. Make sure to catch the sunrises they are spectacular!! We still look at the pictures weekly and plan on going back again very soon!"
