  • Very clean. Very nice. Had everything we could need during a week of R&R.

"Nick's house had everything we needed to enjoy our week without having to run to the store for any little that was missing. The house was immaculate upon arrival. The kitchen was equipped completely. Too many times we've rented homes that say they're fully equipped, only to find annoying little items missing like, not enough spoons, or no corkscrew, or spatula, or too few coffee mugs, whatever. There wee zero instances of this with 110 Anglers Reef. Everything was comfy, clean, and complete. Beds were great and linens all good. There were even beach towels for the pool. One thing we didn't discover though until our 5th day was that there is a beach. It's not too obvious when you go to the pool that there is a path to the small beach off to the right. However, I'll bet Nick's rental info book tells you it's there, but he has so much info in it that we missed it. If you happen to rent a boat for the week (see Captain Jeff or Mike at the marina at the Postcard Inn a mile south) like we did, then there are several restaurants and bars you can get to by water close by. One, the Sunset Grill, is also close enough to walk to from the house. We had Country Cowboy rentals (I think that's what they're called?) drop four bicycles off at the house for the week also at $220. With bikes you can get anywhere you need without getting into a car. We also used Uber a few times when we knew we'd have a few drinks out for the evening. Good news is there are Uber drivers there now. The bad news is that there are so few of them that the rates are always at the UberEx demand rates, which are double the normal rates, so only advantage over a cab is using the app to see availability and how close they are getting to you as they approach. If you like to eat, drink, bike, boat and relax in a tropical setting, then Islamorada has enough of all those things to do them with gusto. Anglers Reef made for a great spot for us to do those things from, and then wind down in comfort at the end of the eve. The singular cautionary note I would add is to be extremely careful of the main road. Cross it with patience and care. The drivers on that road don't generally abide by any rules. But if you're used to driving around Miami, then you might be good to go ;)"

  • The best spot in the keys!

"We visit the keys multiple times have stayed at many different spots, we have stayed here a couple times and this is by far the best spot in the keys! This is a very convenient place both the location being close to the grocery store, restaurants, marinas, etc. It is right on the inner coastal that is a short ride to bay side or ocean side if by boat. The house has many different amenities the convienece of the pool right out the living room on the second floor, multiple TVS on the deck, and awesome landscaping make it an ultimate set up for spending time outdoors. The house is very spacious, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, and the apartment downstairs. Very clean with cute decor! The owner is always easy to reach and is in constant communication, I could not think of a single complaint!!"

  • A True Gem

"Yes, this place does have a million-dollar view, but that's just the beginning of it. If you you're looking for an extremely comfortable place to stay in the keys with all the amenities you could possibly want for a perfect vacation, this place is for you. You have your own private dock to fish from, a charming enclosed patio with lawn chairs, tables, canoes, a bonus outdoor 'room' with a bar, table, 2nd fridge, washer/dryer. There is plenty of room to spread out. The interior of the 2 bedroom rental is well equipped, very comfortable and charming. Not only can you tell that Wendy put a lot of effort into making this place as close to paradise as possible, but must have been living there when she did so, because it doesn't just have the 'look', it actually fulfills. I also have to mention some of the unexpected bonuses; use of a golf cart & boat slip just 1 block away, a large walk-in shower, the softest sheets & most comfortable beds, fishing gear & coolers free to use, and finally, a really awesome property owner who was super helpful and fun to talk to. We will definitely be back."

  • UH-MAZ-ING~you have to go!

"When we first started looking for a place in the Keys we had no idea where to even start. Luckily we happened upon Annie's place! There were 6 of us (4 adults, 2 teens) so I needed something roomy enough that we wouldn't trip over each all day, especially for a 10-day vacation! This little gem was perfect! It is so comfortable and homey the second you walk in. The decor is beachy-cool and modern. The beds are SUPER comfortable (and I am a princess and the pea kind of girl!). Annie was so helpful getting us set up with good places to eat (Marker 88 is an absolute MUST for sunsets and cocktails and it's walking distance up the road). The pool area is quiet but we never felt like were bothering anyone. There are quite a few older residents, so I was a little leery with 2 teenagers, but no one ever gave us dirty looks! LOL The kitchen is well equipped, we had all the pots and pans we needed, plastic wine glasses, spices in the cupboard, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Being from SoCal, we are spoiled with our beaches. We learned soon that there aren't really any swimming beaches in the Keys. You really need to be on a boat in order to go in the ocean. We rented a boat from the place by Island Grill and spent the day going from the Ocean to the Gulf. Highly recommended! Maybe because it was December, there were jellyfish aplenty in the bay out side our unit. No swimming happening there! But none of that matters. We would walk out to the point and watch the sunset. There's a fire pit too so get some firewood when you go to Winn Dixie! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!"
