  • Our Stay

"The house is great especially if you have teenage kids or other couples because of the downtown stairs apartment with it's own entry. Walking distance from one of the best beaches around with tiki huts & BBQ pits. You can'the beat the sunsets, they are over the top. The place is very tranquil with the sounds of the local birds and manatee sightings. Great walk/ bike paths going North(3 miles) and South (1.5 miles). Relaxing screen in porch with view of the canal. We love the downstairs patio with the hammock! Close to great restaurants such as Lazy Days, Lorelei, and Robbie'so right up the street (3 miles) where you can feed the tarpon, rent kayaks, go fishing and a dozen or things to do. Enjoy barbecuing on the front porch in the evening. Definitely we will be coming Back!!"

  • A True Home Away from Home

"This place truly exceeded every expectation I had. I did not want to leave! I was able to reunite with a childhood/lifelong friend at this property and catch up in what may be the most peaceful vacation setting I have ever been in. His fifteen year old son had his first true offshore fishing experience when we traveled out to the world-renowned fishing grounds ("The Islamorada Humps), approximately 15 miles straight out of the back yard beach, where we caught several mahi mahi/dolphin/dorado, a couple in the 30lb. range. Needless to say, the 15 y/o boy's face lit up like a flame when we hooked into those fish and he brought them aboard the boat. Those memories will undoubtedly stay with him for life. Then, back at the house, where the ladies were blissfully relaxing in the beautiful pool, we were able to feast on the fish for days; utilizing the gas grill and the fully stocked kitchen ... we would have made any chef proud. We utilized the fire pit at nights which only added to the already relaxed, tranquil, "florida keys" atmosphere. In short, the comfort and tranquility of this home cannot be overstated. Not once, during my stay, did I find myself saying "I wish I had this (or that, or anything for that matter)." Just see for yourself ... go there and you will want for nothing (other than to stay there forever). I would challenge anyone to go spend some time there and argue otherwise. I don't believe anyone on earth would argue that this place is anything but sheer class!"

  • Great Experience

"The house is beautiful, the neighborhood quiet and friendly. My boat on the davits out front, what is not to love! The house was fully stocked including kitchen with every device you needed, like cooking at home. The furniture is most comfortable and the beds comfy. Spent countless hours on the canal side porch watching pelicans, ospreys, and other birds. Easy access to the bay and ocean. Rented kayaks to use around the canals and bay shoreline. Really like living a dream. Just wonderful, such a great house, impeccably furnished. We have already planned our next vacation there."
