  • Just as promised.

"Really pleasant, just what I wanted, to relax. Got up from a great view from the bed each morning onto the couch for even more spectacular view. And then in the evening sunset from from the porch was phenomenal. We've had a home in the Caribbean, and live at the beach up north, but this is as good as it gets. As to the beach itself, the Keys are coral and mangrove, and much bulkhead, not here, it's as pristine a sandy beach as you'll find. And mostly yours. As I said, I came to relax, though there is plenty to do, Dave and Tatiana offer lots of toys, should that be your desire. From here we traveled from the Everglades on a visit from our Grandchildren to Key West with the in laws. I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't fish that goes to the Keys, but there's a dock at your door if you do, with a short ride to the Atlantic and the Gulf at the end of the Canal. The house is almost too large, quite clean and well appointed. Doesn't get much better. The only regret we had was leaving, to return to our beach, covered in snow"

  • Best views

"The Last Resort is a beautiful home with the best views. Spent the week on the beach during the day and the back porch at night. One of the most relaxing vacations. Spent a second week at a resort which did not even compare to this house. Already trying to plan a stay for next year. Highly recommend this property."

  • A wonderful place to relax and get away for while.

"I have had the pleasure of staying here multiple times over the years and always hate leaving. A very relaxing place to escape the rigors of life. Beautiful scenery and Islamorada is a fun place to explore half way between Miami and Key West. There is hammock for lounging under the deck and even has a ping pong table to pass the time. I also got a chance to go fishing wit Capt. Joe Saba on the dirty boat and had a blast. I caught all kinds of fish and Capt. Saba and his mate cleaned everything when we got back to the dock and then we cooked it up when we got back to the keys house. I cannot wait for another opportunity to go back."

  • Impressive view, impressive space lots of Nature

"Our expectations were fully met and then some. How extra inviting the pool was with a basket full of beach towels awaiting us. We felt secluded from the rest of the world, looking out over the pool and hot tub to the expansive Atlantic ocean. Nature surrounded us: dolphins, ospreys, sandpipers, ibis, iguanas and a myriad of water life. The kayaks beckoned us - what a wonderful addition; the theater room magically proved to be an exciting place for the kids while the older generations enjoyed the quiet times in the evenings; an extra fridge for storing extra drinks or bait for fishing; fully equipped kitchen. We had no need to contact management. We enjoyed day trips to "Theatre of the Seas" and the "Butterfly House" on Key West and numerous breweries. This worked so well for our three generations - fantastic memories for all."
