  • Heaven on earth - My happy place

"The serenity and peace is palpable and breathable. From the views of the marina, to walk to the gazebo on the jette , to the earth tones used to decorate the Villa while keeping it functional and welcoming Ivy has a wonderful place. Golf cart for use to get around the compound and outstanding location for activities at John Pennekamp, to fresh seafood at every turn this is truly a treasure. Ivy is but a phone call away to answer any question or help with plans. Would come back in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend this place, recharges your soul!"

  • 4th of July Family Vacation

"We stayed at Jarrett's place for 10 days. First and foremost - what a wonderful person to deal with. Always a quick response. During booking process and during our stay. This unit is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. The attention to detail is incredible and the updates to the home are very impressive. Fully stocked kitchen and we did use it, very comfortable beds and plenty of space. There were 10 in our party and we never felt crowded. We all enjoyed the lagoon, the pools, and the fishing pier- it was awesome to have the golf cart to get around. Jarrett's home is great for a family vacation. Lot's of restaurants. Our all time favorite restaurant is Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe. Right around the corner from Kawana Yatch Club. A few suggestions not negative comments- it would be great to have a small chest of drawers, especially if staying for 10 days. The marina (although not something Jarrett has any control over- just an FYI for boaters) is not very well designed to launch boat or return vessel to trailer especially during low tide. It is somewhat difficult during high tide but impossible during low tide. We ended up at John Pennecamp marina a few times to retrieve and launch boat. There are boat slips available for rent however due to holiday they were booked, but if bringing your boat I would suggest you rent a slip. The golf cart needs a little maintenance. The lights do not work and the ignition is somewhat loose. It will spin around unless you hold in place to turn key. The battery light inidicator always appears low although fully charged - guessing it has to do with ignition. Overall our stay was WONDERFUL. We will definetly be back to Jarrett's rental and will recommend to our friends and family. Thanks again Jarrett for sharing with us!!"

  • Great view and very comfortable surroundings.

"First of all, the owner of this property, Gaston De Cardenas , was very helpful and available to answer our questions and concerns about his property. The condo was just as the VRBO listing described it. The property was clean and maintained properly. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils and food. The condo was located near many restaurants, a state park and a grocery store. One of our favorite nearby restaurants was The Pilot House. This condo was only 90 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the North and only two hours to Key West to the South. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family . It is located right on the ocean with a fantastic view. We could not think of anything we would change about our visit to Key Largo and this property."

  • Clean, beautiful, spacious rental has it ALL!

"This impressive rental has everything. The cleanliness and beauty are obvious; however, the decor was spectacular. There were elegant original sculptures, pottery, vases, figurines, and wall hangings displayed everywhere. There were 2 separate floors of living space with 2 bedrooms on the main level and one on the ground level. There were plenty of beds with one bedroom that had a queen bed, a single, and a crib. There are 2 master bedrooms and master bathrooms with one on each level, a 3rd full bath is also in the hall on the main floor. The whole rental was spacious with plenty of room for visitors to spread out. There were large family sitting rooms on both levels, with a bar on the ground level, and dining seating on both levels. The dining table on the main floor is very large to seat everyone around. Even more, seating on the balcony, and a patio overlooking the marina, with beautifully manicure lawns and scrubs with lounge chairs and another table with chairs, umbrella, and immaculate barbecue fueled up. There were 2 spiral staircases, one on the inside and one outdoors that were surprisingly secure. Our 23 month old grandchild took to them with no problem. I actually felt that the enclosed railing for the spiral staircase adds an extra element of safety; as, one can securely hold on to both sides. I believe that was why the baby was able to use the spiral staircase, so well (of coarse we spotted the baby for safety). The golf cart parked in the garage available for use was a nice addition to all the other amenities. One can load up the golf cart for the pool, playground, go to the beach, or tour the gated community. One thing that needs mentioning, were that there was plenty of quality linens, including towels, sheets, blankets, pillows. The fully stocked kitchen had everything needed to cook. There was nothing we had to supply for this rental, except food. Check to see if pets are allowed."
