  • A truly worry free vacation!

"This was the best vacation our family ever had! The unit has everything and more needed for your stay. Very clean and organized with all the amenities of home. I brought two families. Grandpa, dad, son and also brother, wife and their daughter. With the lower until they were able to have their own space and we could still all have dinner together in the upper unit. Everything we needed was provided. Nearby there is more activities to see and do than a family of six could do in a week. The 2 and a half bathrooms were nice to have. The owners are very nice people and responded to every question we had. Fishing off the dock can be very exciting you never know what you will catch. Trust me, some of the fish swimming around are huge. The people at the community are very friendly and helpful. Sunsets from the balcony are amazing along with the views from the master bedroom. We rented a 22 Mako and went fishing in the bay and also diving John Pennekamp park. The channel that brings you to the ocean is less than a mile from the dock. Very easy to navigate to. The dock space provided is one of the best at their marina for arival and departure. I would highly recommend this property if it is available."

  • Perfect

"Awesome trip! We didn't spend a lot of time home, as we were out exploring and traveling the Keys during our stay, but the time we did spend at the rental was great. We enjoyed going on bike rides as well as kayaking the mangroves. I didn't realize the neighborhood was right up against John Pennecamp Park until we met a neighbor who filled us in while we were on the water. Beautiful setting and amazing amenities."

  • TYPICAL KEYS RENTAL-EXPECTATION MET

"Heading for our long weekend away we were a little nervous considering the serious drop in positive reviews. We have stayed in the keys many times. This trip was two couples(early 50's) enjoying a long holiday weekend. Dividing the cost between the two couples meant we paid less than a hotel room and had the plus of a full kitchen and laundry facilities and room to spread out. The a/c was plenty cold. The hot water was plenty hot. The cable tv was fine. The beds were comfy. We didn't encounter any issues with the house at all. The house was cleaned when we arrived, in fact the cleaners came back and asked if we wanted them to fold the laundry they had left in the dryer. Yes the house needs a deep cleaning like the berber carpeting is deeply stained. However, we go to the keys with kayaks in tow and after a day on the water, we come dragging into a house with sand and muck and wet, so we wouldn't like to stay in a place that we felt like we had to be totally tidy in. We also were able to bring our dog along, another plus. We couldn't have sat outside in July as we would have just been eaten alive by the mosquitos, but we were able to use the grill one night and it was fine. The dock is showing signs of aging, but the hole is intentionally part of the dock, to allow for mangroves growing there. We never felt unsafe walking on it. Yes the boat is old, but we weren't bothered by it. We go to the Keys to mostly kick back, relax, kayak, and fish. I can see how if you were going to stay at the house as a major part of your time there, that you could be disappointed, but clean and functional works fine for us as long as we aren't paying a premium price. The salt air is so hard on property in the keys, to keep a place in top shape requires expensive regular maintenance that probably would eat up most profit. So, I'm sure it's a balancing act for an owner to figure out what to invest in and what to let go. Also we did receive our security deposit back in the time stated. Would we stay there again? Yep."

  • Clean, beautiful, spacious rental has it ALL!

"This impressive rental has everything. The cleanliness and beauty are obvious; however, the decor was spectacular. There were elegant original sculptures, pottery, vases, figurines, and wall hangings displayed everywhere. There were 2 separate floors of living space with 2 bedrooms on the main level and one on the ground level. There were plenty of beds with one bedroom that had a queen bed, a single, and a crib. There are 2 master bedrooms and master bathrooms with one on each level, a 3rd full bath is also in the hall on the main floor. The whole rental was spacious with plenty of room for visitors to spread out. There were large family sitting rooms on both levels, with a bar on the ground level, and dining seating on both levels. The dining table on the main floor is very large to seat everyone around. Even more, seating on the balcony, and a patio overlooking the marina, with beautifully manicure lawns and scrubs with lounge chairs and another table with chairs, umbrella, and immaculate barbecue fueled up. There were 2 spiral staircases, one on the inside and one outdoors that were surprisingly secure. Our 23 month old grandchild took to them with no problem. I actually felt that the enclosed railing for the spiral staircase adds an extra element of safety; as, one can securely hold on to both sides. I believe that was why the baby was able to use the spiral staircase, so well (of coarse we spotted the baby for safety). The golf cart parked in the garage available for use was a nice addition to all the other amenities. One can load up the golf cart for the pool, playground, go to the beach, or tour the gated community. One thing that needs mentioning, were that there was plenty of quality linens, including towels, sheets, blankets, pillows. The fully stocked kitchen had everything needed to cook. There was nothing we had to supply for this rental, except food. Check to see if pets are allowed."
