  • Perfect for our type of vacation! We love to fish & snorkel, so this place fits the bill!

"We fished and snorkeled everyday using the dock for loading and unloading rods, coolers, snorkel gear, which is extremely difficult if we kept the boat at a marina. The large screened in porch was perfect for us to stow all our gear and we used the fish cleaning station almost everyday. We went out for sunset boat rides and tried out several waterfront restaurants/bars. Our favorite was Hobo's Cafe, (not waterfront, but so good it does not matter!), they specialize in Hog Snapper, Mahi, Grouper and Yellowtail, all my favorites. The location has easy access to the bayside and you can get to the Atlantic side by going through Adams Canal just a mile south. We snorkeled all over Pennekamp and found several spots not on the map that we marked for next year. The kitchen/living room area was great for everyone to hangout during the afternoon thunderstorms and two showers is a great advantage. We will be back again next year!!"

  • Yes, there is Heaven!

"The name of the property fits it so well! Peace, silence, comfort - this is what you can expect from this place! Very clean house, high quality equipment, great localization - next to everything that you need: restaurants, stores, fast foods! We all wished we could stay longer!"

  • Great week in the keys at a great vacation rental!

"There were six of us that stayed and the place was so great. Fernando was excellent to communicate with, getting back to us promptly and giving great instructions on everything. The house was super clean and provided most of what we needed. The only critique I have is that the place was lacking in soap and toilet paper. Not all of the bathrooms had soap, and most of the rolls of toilet paper were almost gone when we arrived and not many spares. It looked like nothing had been refilled after people left. But we did contact Fernando about it and he had some dropped off, which is great, those aren't things you want to have to worry about bringing with you or having to go out and buy when staying at such a nice vacation rental. There was also a washer and dryer, but no laundry soap, again something you'd expect a vacation rental to provide instead of having to go out and get in when you'd rather be enjoying your vacation. Also, it would be great to have some beach towels provided to use as well. Those are all very minor things, the place was perfect and I'd go back in a heartbeat, as well as recommend it to anyone looking into it. Thanks for a great spot to spend our vacation!"

  • Enjoyed the Canal

"I would stay here again because the price is right and it's better than staying at a hotel. Being on the canal was a big plus. I enjoyed drinking my coffee while looking for manatees and tarpon in the canal. The papasan chairs in the living room are comfortable. The house is old and things are falling apart. It has everything you need though: beds, bathroom, filtered water, a coffee pot, clean sheets, towels, etc. My only concern is that the front door is very hard to lock and unlock. Key Largo has a fairly low crime rate, but I still prefer to lock the door. She also has a canoe, but we had too much planned so we didn't get a chance to use it."
