  • The Home I Wish Was Mine

"Bring your bathing suit. You won't need anything else. Lolita thought of everything! I won't go into details because the list is long. Just read her description. It is truly like visiting family and having full use of all their belongings. The location is fantastic. Right on the beach (which we found out is very rare) and very close to the grocery store and many restaurants. The screened porch with lights, fans, music, tables, and chairs with a perfect view of Tarpon Basin was relaxing and exactly what our family was looking for. I wish I was writing this review from that very spot. The entire property inside and out was very clean, organized, and secure. Everything was in proper working order. Thank you for opening your home up to us. It was very nice to meet you and hopefully we can make it back to visit your beautiful property again someday."

  • Well worth the money

"The apartment was exactly how it is in the photos. It was very clean and quiet. Central a/c really helped since there was no real breeze on days 3-7 of our stay. The back porch on the canal can get really hot unless there is a breeze, but there are ceiling fans (2) which helped a bit in the evening. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our stay and liked that we were in close proximity to stores, restaurants, and sites to see. We needed to buy a lot of supplies (don't know if the prior renters had sticky fingers or if it always just bare bones) like dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, sponges, pitchers for beverages, plastic cups, storage containers, bathroom/kitchen cleaner. Luckily there is a Family Dollar near by. We've rented several condos before in other states, mostly for 7-10 days and they've always been super stocked with the basics. Would have liked to have access to a washer and dryer and maybe a chaise lounge chair for the patio. Cable TV stations were minimal too. For the money, though, I guess we got a deal considering we were on the canal. FYI a resident told us to not swim in the canal since there was a presence of e-coli or some other bacteria due to sewage leakage. There's also a film on the top of the water that looks like boat fuel, which we saw right away and derailed us from taking a dip. Really, really enjoyed the bike path for taking long walks in the evening...too many delicious conch fritters and key lime pie! Thank you Antonio and Regina for a lovely vacation in your place :) The Crosdales"

  • Convenient and clean property - Close to Scuba Dive Shops

"This location is very convenient to local scuba diving shops, as well as restaurants, etc. The unit was very clean and comfortable, and there was everything we needed in terms of kitchen ware, etc. The owner was reachable during the stay to answer any questions. Initial access to the parking lot /property was a little challenging because it is a gated community, and one step in the instructions was easy to overlook. But, once we received access, it was not an issue for the remainder of the stay. I would suggest perhaps a TV for the second bedroom."

  • An Oasis In Key Largo

"I have had the privilege of staying here a couple of times and can't say enough about it. When I go, it's like a piece of heaven. I have spent hours just sitting by the pool reading or relaxing and reveling in the peace or sitting out on the back porch watching the sunset. So beautiful. Our friends loved visiting us there because there was plenty of room to house others guests. It's also close to many wonderful restaurants and shops and Publix is not far either. The opportunities to take day trips to see the rest of the Keys is also available and it's only about 3 hours from Key West! I absolutely plan on going back!"
