  • Great outside space, hot indoor space.

"My family vacationed here for a week prior to dropping my son, husband and friend at Boy Scout Sea Base High Adventure. We were with 4 teenage boys (and two grandparents) looking for something with amenities that would keep these active scouts busy. We were drawn to the kayaks and waterfront location with close proximity to good snorkeling. The outside of the house totally delivers. It is exactly as the pictures show. The tiki equipped with hammock and hammock chairs was terrific but we spent most of the time on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and fishing from the bulkhead. There is no pier or dock but if you do not have a boat, there is plenty of room to fish. You will need a FL license if you are over 16. Check with your local bait shop for regulations and bait recommendations (we loved Brenda across the street at Capt Pete's who is a wealth of knowledge!) A few things to note about the property: I would not consider this a 3 bedroom. Yes it does have the beds that it states however the lower level is one large open room that has 2 beds in what is largely a family room with large sectional and television. It is more of a studio. We had planned on my parents staying here but it did not give them any privacy from the teenagers and there is no inside staircase that leads to the upstairs. One must go outside and use the front stairs or the spiral staircase out back. Not a problem when the weather was nice but there were several severe thunderstorms throughout the week which I understand is a regular occurance in the summer. Also, the air condition is not adjustable. It is set to 81 degrees (which was hot and not very comfortable for my mom who suffers from asthma) during the day and appears to come on full blast late in the evening, leaving everyone searching for blankets in the middle of the night and early morning. Lastly, do not expect anyone to sleep in the terraced area during the warm weather months. The owners ask that you keep the sliding doors closed during the day and open them after 8 pm. This room was unbearably hot and two of the boys were forced to sleep on loveseats and sofas in the cooler living room. There is no ice maker which is a bummer when frozen drinks are on the bar menu. It is vacation after all! If you plan on snorkeling in the sound, make sure you stop and pick up a dive flag at any local grocery store, Walgreens or dive shop."

  • Great Condo and Complex in Key Largo

"My husband and I stayed in this condo for the month of March 2016 and we loved it. The condo itself is spacious, has everything we needed and is exactly as shown in the photos and as described in the overview. It is an end unit which has sliding glass doors and/or windows on three sides. Therefore, there is a plenty of daylight coming in and a great breeze when the doors and windows are open. The condo is on the 2nd floor with parking underneath which kept our car out of the hot sun during the day and sheltered from the rain—although it didn’t rain much. The complex is very nicely landscaped and kept immaculate. The people who rent at this complex have developed a very friendly and inviting community which we enjoyed. Potluck dinners are held at the club house once a week and a variety of other activities take place throughout the week that one can participate in – or not. And last but not least, the owners of this condo were accommodating and very easy to work with. We would return without hesitation."

  • Family Reunion

"This was a lovely place with everything needed for a family vacation. The location with access to both the Gulf and Atlantic was great and the boat ramp access was a bonus. The back porch with the basket swings, chairs and seating made for some wonderful family cookouts and good times. We would love to come back again. There are so many extras at this home that we can't list them, just go and enjoy."

  • Paradise in Key Largo

"This is my second stay at this absolutely beautiful property and will definitely book again. Ed made the entire process seamless from beginning to end. He has done some great improvements since our last visit and everything is easy access due to his attention to detail. We explored the keys all week and drove down to Key West which really isn't a long ride and actually one of me favorites. However if you never want to leave the condo you still would have a fabulous vacation. The pool & hot tub is steps away with a well cared for sandy beach area which is great for kids, the condo overlooks the water with the most beautiful sunrises right from the master bedroom. There are always plenty of menus and coupons for local dining and the Island Grill is steps across the parking lot with some great seafood and key lime pie. The staff at Mariner Club are always very nice and the condo is clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend for families ,couples, girls getaway. Thanks again Ed you are one of my favorite hosts!"
