  • Great outside space, hot indoor space.

"My family vacationed here for a week prior to dropping my son, husband and friend at Boy Scout Sea Base High Adventure. We were with 4 teenage boys (and two grandparents) looking for something with amenities that would keep these active scouts busy. We were drawn to the kayaks and waterfront location with close proximity to good snorkeling. The outside of the house totally delivers. It is exactly as the pictures show. The tiki equipped with hammock and hammock chairs was terrific but we spent most of the time on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and fishing from the bulkhead. There is no pier or dock but if you do not have a boat, there is plenty of room to fish. You will need a FL license if you are over 16. Check with your local bait shop for regulations and bait recommendations (we loved Brenda across the street at Capt Pete's who is a wealth of knowledge!) A few things to note about the property: I would not consider this a 3 bedroom. Yes it does have the beds that it states however the lower level is one large open room that has 2 beds in what is largely a family room with large sectional and television. It is more of a studio. We had planned on my parents staying here but it did not give them any privacy from the teenagers and there is no inside staircase that leads to the upstairs. One must go outside and use the front stairs or the spiral staircase out back. Not a problem when the weather was nice but there were several severe thunderstorms throughout the week which I understand is a regular occurance in the summer. Also, the air condition is not adjustable. It is set to 81 degrees (which was hot and not very comfortable for my mom who suffers from asthma) during the day and appears to come on full blast late in the evening, leaving everyone searching for blankets in the middle of the night and early morning. Lastly, do not expect anyone to sleep in the terraced area during the warm weather months. The owners ask that you keep the sliding doors closed during the day and open them after 8 pm. This room was unbearably hot and two of the boys were forced to sleep on loveseats and sofas in the cooler living room. There is no ice maker which is a bummer when frozen drinks are on the bar menu. It is vacation after all! If you plan on snorkeling in the sound, make sure you stop and pick up a dive flag at any local grocery store, Walgreens or dive shop."

  • Enjoyed our stay

"We had a wonderful time and most relaxing week in Key Largo. The property was very clean and well kept. Plenty of towels and amenities. Close to restaurants and provisions. The owner was very accommodating and available to answer questions. Looking forward to our next trip!"

  • Beautiful community, cute and cozy condo with everything you could possibly need.

"The condo community itself is beautifully landscaped and well kept, with PLENTY of things to do ON site. This particular condo is adorable. Light and airy and perfectly situated directly in front of the pool and the saltwater lagoon. Hallelujah -- no bored kids! The condo was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We were so at home here. The owners, Gregory and Carolyn, were very accommodating and incredibly helpful. They thought of everything.I could not have been happier with this condo and this community. I want a do over!!"

  • A truly worry free vacation!

"This was the best vacation our family ever had! The unit has everything and more needed for your stay. Very clean and organized with all the amenities of home. I brought two families. Grandpa, dad, son and also brother, wife and their daughter. With the lower until they were able to have their own space and we could still all have dinner together in the upper unit. Everything we needed was provided. Nearby there is more activities to see and do than a family of six could do in a week. The 2 and a half bathrooms were nice to have. The owners are very nice people and responded to every question we had. Fishing off the dock can be very exciting you never know what you will catch. Trust me, some of the fish swimming around are huge. The people at the community are very friendly and helpful. Sunsets from the balcony are amazing along with the views from the master bedroom. We rented a 22 Mako and went fishing in the bay and also diving John Pennekamp park. The channel that brings you to the ocean is less than a mile from the dock. Very easy to navigate to. The dock space provided is one of the best at their marina for arival and departure. I would highly recommend this property if it is available."
