  • Wonderful Amenities!

"Jose is extremely helpful, he was available any time via phone or text if we had an questions or issues he address them immediately. This place is a townhouse in a secured neighborhood, the pool, tennis court, basketball amenities were nice. This rental is great for a couple or small family, there was also plenty of movies, outdoor toys, and fishing poles. Great time here!"

  • Well worth the money

"The apartment was exactly how it is in the photos. It was very clean and quiet. Central a/c really helped since there was no real breeze on days 3-7 of our stay. The back porch on the canal can get really hot unless there is a breeze, but there are ceiling fans (2) which helped a bit in the evening. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our stay and liked that we were in close proximity to stores, restaurants, and sites to see. We needed to buy a lot of supplies (don't know if the prior renters had sticky fingers or if it always just bare bones) like dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, sponges, pitchers for beverages, plastic cups, storage containers, bathroom/kitchen cleaner. Luckily there is a Family Dollar near by. We've rented several condos before in other states, mostly for 7-10 days and they've always been super stocked with the basics. Would have liked to have access to a washer and dryer and maybe a chaise lounge chair for the patio. Cable TV stations were minimal too. For the money, though, I guess we got a deal considering we were on the canal. FYI a resident told us to not swim in the canal since there was a presence of e-coli or some other bacteria due to sewage leakage. There's also a film on the top of the water that looks like boat fuel, which we saw right away and derailed us from taking a dip. Really, really enjoyed the bike path for taking long walks in the evening...too many delicious conch fritters and key lime pie! Thank you Antonio and Regina for a lovely vacation in your place :) The Crosdales"

  • Great place to stay!

"We enjoyed this condo very much. It is updated and spacious. The balcony overlooks the pool and waterfront. We also appreciated having a boat slip. The condo property is well kept and has a nice family atmosphere. The location is perfect with several very good restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time!"

  • Brilliant

"As with every other reviewer we could not fault our experience. Unlike a lot of places we have stayed in it was actually better than the description and pictures plus Thea and Kim were the perfect hosts. We swam, fished and snorkelled right off the dock, caught an octopus, saw some lobsters as well as plenty of fish. We made good use of the Kayaks and went north and south - if you get the chance ask Kim for directions to Kayak down to the Dolphin Rescue Centre. Might take you 20-30mins but you can sit on the water and watch them play, be fed etc for free, and see some lovely homes on the way. Had a great afternoon out on the water with our hosts on their boat, used the bikes, pool, jacuzzi etc. Also much time spent just sitting and watching the activity on the canal as all the diving, glass bottomed, pirate and Africa Queen boats passed by regularly. Restaurants within walking or biking distance, Publix only a mile or two away and the John Pennekamp park only a little further. You could probably Kayak there if the water is flat and you are a bit fitter than we are!! You will not be disappointed - also central to either head North to Miami or down to Key West. A great place to either just relax or very central if you want to get out and about. All in all, we could not have been happier with the place and the people - very sad to leave but I expect we will return"
