  • Wonderful vacation spot!

"This place was awesome! The location was perfect - close to nearly everything. We rented a car to drive from Miami through the Keys, but didn't use the car while staying in Key West - we walked and biked. The place was clean and well appointed. We had difficulty with the TV and immediately, the owner corrected the problem. The beds were comfortable and everything worked well. Nice outdoor area with privacy. Would definitely stay here again."

  • February in Key West

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent the month of Feb at Seashore Condo in Truman Annex. This is my 7th year spending the month in KW, my 5th condo. You can't beat this location. Centrally located, walking distance to everything. The condo was nice. I've had others that were better stocked, but this was adequate. I did have some issues in the beginning, such as spare room windows wouldn't open, the toilet was very slow to flush and a few other minor issues. They were fixed, but not to complete satisfaction. The toilet needs to be replaced. It was pretty nasty looking. The tub is so stained it can't be cleaned. After they "fixed" the toilet they said someone would come clean, but that never happened. I was also told if I thought the toilet should be replaced I should just let them know. I did. It wasn't. Also, the couch needs to be replaced. It was pretty grungy. We put a blanket on it just to sit on it. It also took 2 days to get someone to give me keys to the pool First I was told they weren't required, which I knew was false, then told they'd bring them to me, which didn't happen, finally I went to the office and got them I know all that sounds awful, but the place was otherwise nice, bright and had a nice back deck. I've been to KW many times and love it there. I would recommend Truman Annex as a place to stay because of location You can't beat it. I love it there I'd go back. I'd rent this condo again if I knew some improvements were made to the bathroom in particular."

  • Lovely week away from snowy Connecticut

"Tom and Marie's cozy cottage was exactly as we expected. The kitchen is small but very well-equipped. The beds are quite comfortable - even the twin beds made into a king worked out well. We enjoyed the back deck and were saddened when the gas grill was removed due to a city ordinance that is now being enforced. We would definitely return!"

  • Perfect Place for Two or Three! Maybe even four!

"This was a perfect place to stay on Key West. Two bikes are a part of the deal and it is a short bike ride to just about anything you'd want to do: swim or go to a yoga class at the state park beach, watch the sunset on the board walk, shop, eat out, charter a ride on a sail boat, join a jet ski tour, etc. If there are more than two of you, it is an easy walk to rent more bikes. If you are in the mood to stay in, the little galley kitchen is outfitted with just about anything you'd need to put together a meal (except the food of course!). The back porch overlooks the pool and is a great place to enjoy a cocktail and/or eat. Although there's not a lot of floor space, the two bedrooms have great closets and decent beds. On on rainy day the TV has cable, video games and a DVD player. There are games and videos in a nearby cabinet. It's definitely "one way traffic" in this little place, but when you spend most of your time on the beach, on a bike, at the pool (a gorgeous 86 degrees all the time!), kayaking, or boating, who cares! Paola Forman was super helpful and provided excellent directions for accessing the property. Just don't forget to download them from the last email she sends like I did! If you do, hopefully you'll run into a terrific guard at the Annex guard station on Southard St like we did. He was a lifesaver. Calm, helpful and resourceful!"
