  • PLEASANTLY PERFECT !!! 😄

"Tranquility is an Understatement ! This cottage is in The Best location for Everything. We walked / biked Everywhere, our vehicle never was used. 1 Block off Duval street, takes only Minutes to get to Mallory Square. There is on street parking in front of cottage, just be patient for a spot. We did have to park in a Pay Lot the 1st day, directly behind property, ($25 / 24hrs), but got a spot out front the nxt morning. A Very Quiet / Private location ! We had coffee every morning on our Private patio amidst the tropical foliage (and the occasional chameleon watching us from the fence). Everyone in town is extremely friendly and welcoming, even the chickens and resident cat... you feel like a Local not a tourist. We stayed through Christmas, everything was open and Not overcrowded, so don't let a holiday deter you. We cant give a high enough review for Tranquility ! ! ! Thanks for a Lovely Relaxing vacation ."

  • Fabulous Key West cottage!

"My husband and I rented this adorable cottage along with another couple for 4 nights in June for our first visit to Key West and also our first experience with VRBO. This wonderful cottage is exactly as pictured, and was perfectly clean and comfortable for us. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the patio out back, and enjoyed using the community pool a few times as well. The kitchen had all that we needed- dishes, appliances, etc.- during our stay. The location of the cottage is absolutely perfect! The community is quiet and quaint, and just a short easy walk from Duval Street. We highly recommend renting bicycles from the rental shop just up Southard Street to easily get around the island. The owner was friendly and answered all questions promptly throughout the booking process. We plan to visit Key West in the future, and hope to stay here again!"

  • Perfect Place to Stay!

"We visited Bill's condo in April and had a wonderful time. The condo was big enough to accommodate My family of 5 and My best friend and her husband. We loved the view that we had from the balcony onto the beach. We even got to witness 23 Cuban refugees come ashore one night. This condo is far enough away from Duval Street if you want to be away from the craziness. It is a bout a 5 minute walk to Duval. We bought transit passes and took the bus back and forth and that was great having that option right out in front of the condo. We would stay here again in a heart beat."

  • Very nice time

"Check in was in another building in the neighborhood, but easy. When we arrived we checked the bed linens and found some dark spots on the bedspreads that were distasteful. The sheets also had some long hairs in them, and the white towels had some stains on them. We called the management office right away and they were incredibly swift in rectifying the situation, so we were happy about that. They even gave us two bikes for free to use during our stay because of it and we appreciated that immensely. The kitchen had a lot of little ants everywhere, so don't leave anything out on the counters. It's a Key West thing to be aware of. A top shelf in the bathroom was swarming with ants and it was pretty alarming. Apparently there was some ant bait placed up there and boy were they baited. It freaked me out. The grounds are gated which made me feel very safe and they had a lovely pool you could dip in which was lovely. This particular unit faces the street and the entrance to the courtyard so you don't have any privacy unless you pull the blinds closed, which darkens the whole apartment. It wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice to have some sunlight coming in. The people who take care of the complex live next door and are very nice. However, one of the rules of the complex is that you're not allowed to dry anything out on your porch area on the wicker chairs. They tell you to dry everything in your bathroom or use the dryer (which is on site, coin operated.) We thought this was silly and couldn't see that seriously being enforced because it's a beach location and people are going to have towels, suits, etc.. It was. That struck me as a little uptight. The location is perfectly suited to all the attractions in Old Town and ultimately I would stay here again. The management team told us that there were going to be some upgrades to the unit coming soon, which is exciting. The pros outweighed the negatives."
