  • An Absolute Dream in Key West

"Our party of eight (seven adults and one child) stayed at Casa Amor in November 2016 as part of a larger trip to the Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas and Biscayne National Parks. We actually booked Casa Amor for two separate two-night stays because we were camping at Dry Tortugas the nights in between. When we arrived, our group was floored by how well-appointed and lovely Casa Amor was. The loggia and pool were enchanting, and the glass doors rolled all the way open to create a wonderful inside-outside living space. The house was spotlessly clean, as were the linens and towels. The bedrooms were spacious and delightfully decorated. All told, it was the perfect space for our group. Even the three provided house keys were perfect, allowing various to come and go as we pleased. Michel, the owner, is absolutely charming. He gave us tips on where to sit on the ferry to Dry Tortugas, and he made sure that our stay was perfect, which it was. Unfortunately, one of our group forgot his eyeglasses, and Michel contacted us immediately in order to get contact info to mail them to him. I have already recommended Casa Amor to two business colleagues in the three days I've been back home. I think that the best testament to Casa Amor's magic is that as we continued our trip in the Upper Keys, all of us spoke longingly of Casa Amor and how much we'd liked it and missed it already. Michel, thank you for a wonderful experience!"

  • Hollinsed House Heaven!

"We stayed at the Hollinsed house pool side suite in April 2016. Can't say enough positive things about this place, the owners and staff. Clean, affordable and great location. Pirate scooters is right up the street if you want to rent a scooter or bike but you don't need one. Everything is in walking distance. There is a grocery around the corner- sells wine/ beer, liquor store nearby as well and coffee shops. House was quiet and set back off the street. Kitchen was clean and stocked with everything you need. Bed was king size and comfortable. Bathroom is small but nice. There was a table and chairs outside for sitting. Beach towels were provided as well as an iron, hairdryer, umbrella etc. We loved this place and will definitely recommend and return. I only wish it had a full length mirror. Owners were polite, responded quickly to any inquiry's and could not be more accommodating. Miss Tigger the cat was very sweet & the Roosters were pretty cool too! Thank you for renting to us."

  • Nice stay

"We visited Key West with my sister and brother in law. Judy was easy to work with and very prompt with her responses. The condo complex is cute and the pool is very nice. The condo is very clean and tidy. We ate in most meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Appreciate the washer and dryer in the condo. The full baths in both bedrooms is a bonus. We also took advantage of the bikes Judy offered as well as the beach towels. Like a few other reviewers, the road noise was an issue for us. The condo backs up to a busy road and the traffic is heavy 24/7. There are two nice screened in porches at the back of the condo and even with the road noise, we would have sat outside to enjoy the fresh air. However, there was no outdoor furniture on the porches. We also planned on using the grill but it was extremely dirty and we could not locate a brush to clean it. It also would have been nice to have additional bath towels. We did use the washer and dryer but typically there is more than one set of towels per guest. And just as a personal preference, we probably would have been happier staying closer to town. With two couples and one rental car, we were juggling going back and forth based on what people wanted to do."
