  • Loved the house.

"Ashe Street house has larger rooms than our previous rentals, and a friendly feel. We liked everything about it . The upstairs bedrooms are luxurious. Downstairs tv room has a library and comfy sofa. (non-sleep sofa) The queen size Murphy bed worked well when we had extra visitors. (House is roomy, could really sleep 8 in a pinch) Backyard & pool are beautiful, Weber, big table for dinners. The owners left many nice touches. Staff at Rent Key West are very helpful on check in. We hired them for an extra cleaning; they know the house & have keys. Ideas: Find the Pescado food truck around the corner for lobster rolls, Bistro Sole for outside dining two bl. west on White St., and Salute on Higgs Beach. Key West is mad fun, we're coming back."

  • The best location!

"This is our 4th or 5th time staying at Shipyard condos and the 1st time at this unit. The location is perfect; a couple of blocks from the center of Duval and 1/4 mile from the best beach on the island,Fort Zach. You don't need a car when staying in Old Town and this spot is quiet but still close to everything. Don't want the sunset crowds of Mallory Square? Just grab one of the beach chairs and head out your back door over to what used to be part of the naval property and enjoy. We have stayed in a Shipyard unit that was strictly a rental income and they did not provide beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, guest book, etc. and staying in an owner occupied unit like Donna's is so much more convenient and personal. The unit is filled w/local artwork and personal, homey touches. If you don't want to eat out every nite, the kitchen is well stocked w/utensils,plates,etc. and there is a grill on the deck along w/spices in the cabinet, foil and ziploc bags. We bungeed our tandem bike rental like a pack mule and brought charcoal, cooler, lunch, chairs to the beach(along w/our travel hammock!) and settled in for a few hours of paradise. Hammock swinging in the shade, the beautiful green blue waters, and the smell of local yellowtail on the grill. The beach has chair rentals and a concession stand if you want to keep it simple. There is a large pool on site but w/the proximity to the beach, we rarely have used it but it's there to enjoy.Check out the guest book for suggestions in the area.We would highly recommend getting out on the water for a snorkel/dolphin watch/kayak excursion and also check out the Hemingway House, the Butterfly Conservatory, Mel Fisher museum, a walk thru KW cemetery and live music and happy hour at one of the bars. And Donna sent us a walking map and other info. Enjoy this little bit of paradise! Thanks! Alison and Mary"

  • Clean, Spacious Condo

"We just spent our family vacation in this condo in July 2016. The condo was clean and well maintained with new appliances. We had seven adults staying comfortably at this location. We put three adult teens in one room which was perfectly fine with them so we could keep the living room free for the early birds. Two of the bathrooms were very private and the other was conveniently located across the hall from the bedroom that the adult teens shared which was also nice. The pool was very large and the grounds were kept clean. Security was visible on a regular basis which eased my mind. I would definitely recommend this property and also the owner is extremely helpful!"

  • Booked our return visit for 2017!

"All the reviews about Craig & Cindy and their properties are spot on. We stayed at 214 and it is a beautiful house & perfect location. No matter which way you want to go, Mallory Square or Duvall St., you will be there in about 5 minutes. Very quiet, relaxing & private. Felt right at home immediately. The property is just as described and Craig & Cindy have thought of everything, the only thing we needed was food. Ladies as of August 2016 there were 2 hair dryers, Guys as of August 2016 there were 2 hair dryers! The cleaning staff does an amazing job and my wife wishes she could have brought them home with us. We did spot Fleming the Cat on our last day. Please don't forget the packet they send you, it comes in quite handy for quick reference of codes, phone numbers and places to eat and play. Thank you again for providing a great HOME on our vacation!"
