  • Simply the Best

"Went with m y girlfriends for a fiftieth birthday get-away weekend and honestly can't say enough good things about our stay here. The location is perfect! We walked to everything, beaches, shops, Mallory square - definitely no car needed here. And amazingly even though it is so well situated it is very quiet and peaceful. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on and I have emailed the owner for more info about them. The house is so cool and clean with absolutely everything we needed and wanted at our finger tips from books to beach towels to state of the art appliances. Kim and Don are excellent hosts easily available to answer questions but otherwise never heard or saw them. I have been to Key West many times and hope to go many more times ( and soon). I will always book here first if its available!"

  • Villa tropicale

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was with a group of 8 and had plenty of space for everyone. The front yard had a large pool, patio, and several seating areas to choose from. The coconut, banana trees and other foliage are very thick and almost rainforest like. The home is approximately 1 mile from Duval St so transportation to store, restaurants and attractions is a must. We rented scooters and had a blast. We were all very happy with our stay here. My only small criticism would be that the trees surrounding the pool are so tall and full that it cut out a good portion of direct sun for tanning by the poolside. We found ourselves chasing the sunlight. Still, that was a minor issue. We loved our stay and will definitely rent from RKW again."

  • Amazing place & even better location!

"We stayed in Harvey's Haven for a week and loved every minute. This place is absolutely perfect for a couple (and even 4 people if needed with the pull out couch/bed). The location is amazing and within walking distance (or short bike ride) to everything. We rented bikes for the week and made the reservation before arriving. The bikes were delivered and waiting for us when we arrived from the airport. We were able to start our venturing immediately. You are merely a block off of Duval street, making the access to places to eat, nightlife, etc. easily accessible. Although you are so close to Duval street, you are still away from the noise and will find the place peaceful and relaxing. The grounds of the location are nicely kept and we enjoyed several days sitting outside by the pool and relaxing. The room has the essentials of everything you will need for the week. It is very clean and updated. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay for our first time visiting Key West. We will definitely be back in the future and cannot wait to stay here again :-)"

  • What you need to know.

"Basics: We stayed at Hollinsed House for our first time. We stayed in unit 6 which was a one room suite with a king size bed. It has a small kitchenette and a small bathroom . This was a ground floor unit. We stayed during the Fantasy Fest. No place is perfect so I will explain what we liked and what we thought were less than perfect. What we liked: The management was great and answered our text messages quickly. The location could not have been better. Within a 2 minute walk we were on Duval Street and right in the middle of all of the festivities. Once we had enough excitement, we could get back to our own room quickly where it was quiet and far enough away from the noise. The Courtyard area along with the pool was quaint and enjoyable. Our room accommodation you are more than adequate to meet our needs. We did not cook any meals so I cannot comment on the kitchen. The coffee pot work fine and we were within walking distance of a 3 dozen restaurants. Less than perfect: This particular property only had accommodatons for two cars for the entire property. Therefore majority of the guests would need to find their own off property parking. There is parking allowed on the street however being so close to Duvall, it was very difficult to find anything available. Our room was a ground floor unit. The building is an older wood-framed structure. Therefore the person walking around above you could easily be heard below. This was not a problem however I could see it being less than ideal for others. In the future I would probably request an upper floor. Our shower was very small. I could see a "large person" having problems fitting into it. While I am 6 foot 1, I only weigh 185lbs. I had no problem using the shower but it was small. All in all we had a great time and I would certainly stay here again. I would also have no problems recommending this to friends and family. However I would only recommend this to those looking for a quieter environment. If you are looking for more of a spring break type party environment then I would not recommend this property. I hope this helps."
