  • Loved the house.

"Ashe Street house has larger rooms than our previous rentals, and a friendly feel. We liked everything about it . The upstairs bedrooms are luxurious. Downstairs tv room has a library and comfy sofa. (non-sleep sofa) The queen size Murphy bed worked well when we had extra visitors. (House is roomy, could really sleep 8 in a pinch) Backyard & pool are beautiful, Weber, big table for dinners. The owners left many nice touches. Staff at Rent Key West are very helpful on check in. We hired them for an extra cleaning; they know the house & have keys. Ideas: Find the Pescado food truck around the corner for lobster rolls, Bistro Sole for outside dining two bl. west on White St., and Salute on Higgs Beach. Key West is mad fun, we're coming back."

  • Quiet and Relaxing Spot in the Keys

"If you are looking for a peaceful place in the Keys with all the amenities, this is your spot! Located in a quiet, upscale residential area, the house offers privacy and comfort. I enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen with the awesome stove. The rooftop deck is great to catch a sunrise or sunset or just read a book and enjoy the breeze. It is wonderful to shower outdoors in privacy looking up at all the palms! The canal has quite a variety of interesting fish and I recommend putting on mask and snorkel and going for a swim. The house is located less than 15 minutes from Bahia Honda SP, great beach to snorkel and soak up the sun and it close to a grocery store and pharmacy. The Looe Key Resort, in walking distance from house, offers daily specials and live music nightly. The resort also offers trips out to the reef at Looe Key but the winds were an issue for small crafts during our stay. Steve is great to work with and helped us get our kayak to the house without a hitch. We look forward to staying again sometime and would highly recommend his home to anyone who loves the beauty of the Florida Keys! Thanks Steve for helping us to celebrate our 25th Anniversary."

  • a memorable month in a beautiful setting.

"Our family and extended family spent the month of Feburary at this house and it was very comfortable, our group consisted of 4 couples and 2 singles. The great thing about the house was how we were able to spread out and have private space, while at the same time having optional communal space for card playing, dining or just enjoying each others company. We also enjoyed the boat harbor, we brought our 24' center console boat and it was safely moored in the harbor awaiting our next fishing or diving trip. The pool area was lovely and shaded which was nice on hot sunny days. There was ample parking as well. We are already looking forward to spending next Feburary there."

  • Nice stay

"We visited Key West with my sister and brother in law. Judy was easy to work with and very prompt with her responses. The condo complex is cute and the pool is very nice. The condo is very clean and tidy. We ate in most meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Appreciate the washer and dryer in the condo. The full baths in both bedrooms is a bonus. We also took advantage of the bikes Judy offered as well as the beach towels. Like a few other reviewers, the road noise was an issue for us. The condo backs up to a busy road and the traffic is heavy 24/7. There are two nice screened in porches at the back of the condo and even with the road noise, we would have sat outside to enjoy the fresh air. However, there was no outdoor furniture on the porches. We also planned on using the grill but it was extremely dirty and we could not locate a brush to clean it. It also would have been nice to have additional bath towels. We did use the washer and dryer but typically there is more than one set of towels per guest. And just as a personal preference, we probably would have been happier staying closer to town. With two couples and one rental car, we were juggling going back and forth based on what people wanted to do."
