"i would wholeheartedly recommend this property, we found the house and property better than the description. The house was very clean as we arrived and the owners followed up right after our arrival to assure our satisfaction. The house is minutes from the ocean on a clear canal containing a wealth of sea life. We saw parrotfish snappers small sharks and a manatee. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Enjoy!"

  • For us, this place worked out great!

"The location of this house was our favorite part, it is right across the channel from Big Pine Key, which happens to be our favorite, with all the key deer roaming around. It is less than a half hour from Key West, and about 15 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park. We loved the water front property, it was plenty big enough for us to pull our 42 foot 5th wheel in, completely set it up, and also park two large pick up trucks. The use of the kayaks was very nice, even if the wind didn't cooperate most of our stay, and the pool was a refreshing treat. When we arrived there was only one kayak, when the listing stated two, I sent Donald a text, and he had someone bring us another the same day. The house itself is an older house, and a bit dated, but it worked out well. It was clean when we arrived, and felt comfortable. The two upstairs bedrooms are small, as the listing states they are. The master down stairs is plenty big, and has a connecting bathroom. The living room area was big, comfortable, and had a nice view of the water. The down stairs (efficiency) is nice to have for the extra fridge, and a down stairs bathroom, but I wouldn't feel comfortable letting anyone sleep down there. Donald did make sure to tell me that it is not as nice as the rest of the house, and he was right. My husband did get bit by a scorpion while walking through there one evening to use the bathroom. That was a little scary, and very painful, but after some quick research we learned that there are no deadly scorpions in FL, and by the next day there was no sign of the bite on his foot. The decks are dated, and kind of sketchy in places. We avoided the top deck because of this, but had lots of fun on the ground level. The neighborhood was quiet, and laid back. In my honest opinion the price is a bit high for this home, but since we could fit our 5th wheel in the lot (we travel full time in it for work so it's always with us), the location, the fact that they are pet friendly, and being right on the water was so nice, we would rent it again. Donald and his wife were very easy to work with, friendly, and were always quick with their responses whenever I contacted them. We thank you for sharing your home with us, Donald, all in all, we enjoyed spending the holidays there, and hated to leave the beautiful Florida Keys! Wishing you & yours all the best in 2016!"

  • Awesome location

"The property is in a prime location with easy access to Gulf and ocean. Our party of 13 had lots of room and the kids had fun dipping in the pool. The property manager, Kevin, was awesome. There wasn't Internet or cable when we arrived and Kevin worked tirelessly with the carrier to get it up and running. Although we didn't get it until 3 days before we left (7 day rental), Kevin was gracious and constantly worked with the carrier. We are planning on returning next year. Had to clean out bait was built up with ice and can't fit a small bag of bait. Took 2 days to thaw out to clean. Also, Due to current pushing in sea grass, ended up raking up 8 trash cans to prevent clogging of boat motor. I would rate it a 5 except for the Internet and the cleaning we had to do. All in all, even that did not make a dent in our enjoyment. The house and property is a gem."

"WOW! What an amazing week. This was a SURPRISE 30th Anniversary trip for my sister in law and her husband. First and foremost we would like to THANK Richard (homeowner) for his attention to detail and always making himself available to answer all of our questions prior to our arrival. THERE WERE A LOT! The communication was above and beyond any other home rental we have ever done. The description of the home was spot on. The house was clean and well appointed. We flew down, therefore we could not pack as much. We were pleasantly surprised that we did not want for anything. The screened porch was our favorite! We spent most mornings and evenings out there. The canal view was Awesome. The home rental came with Kayaks and Bikes. The Kayaks were our next favorite. We spent several hours paddling the canals and open waters around Little Torch Key. The kayaks afforded us an opportunity to explore the tranquility and beauty of the area. We took several bike rides around the neighborhood, so quiet and peaceful! The home also came with a Hot Tub and a Hammock. Unfortunately due to our busy schedule, we did not fully utilize them. If our stay would have been longer, we would have definitely taken advantage of them. Location of the home was convenient to Key West, snorkeling at Looe Key, and Bahia Honda State Park. Looe Key is a MUST! Best Snorkeling we have ever done. We would like to give a shout out to LOOE KEY REEF RESORT & DIVE CENTER. The crew and trip were AMAZING. They are located a short 5 minute drive from the home. Price for snorkeling tour includes all equipment needed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home."
