  • AWESOME place...extremely clean

"I have never taken the time to write a review before but this place deserves one! First off the owner Jillian was wonderful and personable to deal with as was Holli the property manager who greeted us upon our arrival and answered any questions we had throughout our stay. From start to finish the process was very easy and accommodating. I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of this truly was IMMACULATE. The furnishings and decorating were very welcoming along with comfortable beds and new washer and dryer set...(nice to keep up with the laundry so you don't have a ton when you get home). Loved the Cabana Club and the location of this home. The dock was great, we saw manatees and tarpon right around our boat and tons of lizards and iguanas running around! We took our cleaned filleted fish we caught to Key Colony Inn and they gave us about 12 to15 different options to prepare it for us, our youngest recommends the sicilian way...yummy. No Name Pub, Sombrero Reef, Fishing with Main Attraction, lobstering, snorkling, Burdines, Sparkys, bike riding in Key West and Swimming with the Dolphins at Theater of the Sea completed our stay....We will definitely be back to stay at Jillian's lovely home again. Thank you for allowing us to stay! T. Koss Sarasota, Fl."

  • A Week In Paradise At Keys Escape

"Spent a wonderful week here. The house was exactly as described. Very relaxing watching the fish swim in the canal in the evenings, and hassle free being able to dock the boat right at the house. We caught a mangrove snapper right off the back porch. We also had visits from the resident iguanas and cranes who ate right out of my hand. For dinner out, Sparky's Landing was the bomb! Ate there 3 times in the week we stayed! Took a trip on Fishin'pole Charters out of Robbie's on Islamorada and caught 31 mahi! Dee was a pleasure to deal with! I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place to stay in Marathon. We can't wait to plan our next trip to Keys Escape!"

  • loved our stay!!

"loved elaines home, very clean and spacious. we had 6 of us and never felt cramped. We had friends over for dinner (10 of us) and cooked without any issues. Washer and dryer were life saves after the days at the beach. Rented a boat for 3 days and didnt have any problems tying up on her dock. Neighbors we talked to were very friendly, and the cabana club was a nice treat after long days in the sun ( thier pool is actually chilled and refreshing) The few questions I had for Elaine were answered very quickly. Looking forward to our next trip already and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Exceptional!

"Rented this home from the Fosters based on the pictures and reviews posted on the VRBO site. Our experience there was better than we could have expected. We found the home to be just as pictured, clean, and neat. Everything you could need was there for your use. Information and access keys were readily available and instructions for use were provided. Freddie was there when we arrived and offered all kinds of advice and assistance to us regarding the home, the beaches, fishing advice, restaurants and the like. He even offered me bait he had in the freezer! If you can't relax and feel at ease in this home you have a problem. You could spend your time just in the back yard, catching fish off the dock, giving water to the manatees, feeding fish to the egrets, watching the iguanas and soaking up the sun. Inch beach is quiet and secluded and a wonderful place for the family, just a two minute walk across the street. Bike riding or walking around the island is safe with plenty of beautiful homes to see. the "open market" at the park was really nice with good food for sale and beautiful crafts. As an aside, the Fosters neighbors were very friendly and easy to talk to, readily offering advice on places to dine, and things to do. I would rate this home, the Fosters, and KCB a six star experience. It is not a question of if we would rent this property again, but rather when we can make the time to get back here and hopefully find the home available. Thank you Freddie and Cheryl for your home and the wonderful experience you were instrumental in our having!"
