  • A Million Dollar View of the Atlantic

"The Golden Plum was everything as advertised. When we arrived it was clean and spotless. That's very important to us. The place is well furnished inside and out and the coconut palms give it that tropical paradise feeling. The location is great. Just one mile from two major grocery stores, K-Mart, Walgreens, gas stations, and fishing stores all in the same two blocks. And yes, Sombrero Beach is a wonderful public beach with showers, restrooms, kiddie playground, and also dog friendly. You can walk to it about 6/10 of a mile, but if you're like us and need beach chairs, umbrella, towels and cooler, there is plenty of free parking to drive your car. The morning sunrises over the Atlantic are breath taking. We also enjoyed watching the wildlife with a large variety of birds, colorful Iguanas, and fish as tides change. I had fun fishing off the dock where you can catch Snappers on shrimp and Barracuda on lures. Phil, the owner made it clear that he is always available to answer questions or assist in whatever you need. I would have rated this 5 stars except the house lacked an ice maker and dishwasher. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay."

  • Lovely 3 bed/3bath. Two new bathrooms were very spa like

"Loved having our own pool and home. Very nicely done and well maintained. Would recommend, located half way between Key Largo and Key West. Visit to Pigeon Key by boat was very interesting."

  • Our family truly enjoyed our stay with a gorgeous ocean front area view and super cute beach house.

"We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the house, the beach and Marathon. It would have been helpful to have a local contact; we did meet a very pleasant man just as we were leaving on the last day. If we return to the Keys area, we would surely try to secure this home for our stay."

  • Great location and view

"Fins to the Left is the perfect vacation spot in the Keys. Our entire family loved the location. Without a T-top our boat could easily slip under the causeway bridge to the Gulf or head straight out to the Atlantic. My wife loved the view from the balcony. We also enjoyed riding the bikes to the shops on the causeway. From the dock my son caught a 40-pound tarpon and sometimes his limit of mangrove snapper up to 17”. Being at the end of the street was nice and quiet, plus it gave us plenty of space to walk our dogs. It was great working with Bonnie the realtor. We are already making plans for our 2017 trip back to Fins to the Left!"
