  • Family Reunion

"This was a lovely place with everything needed for a family vacation. The location with access to both the Gulf and Atlantic was great and the boat ramp access was a bonus. The back porch with the basket swings, chairs and seating made for some wonderful family cookouts and good times. We would love to come back again. There are so many extras at this home that we can't list them, just go and enjoy."

  • A+ views and Outdoor living

"This house is a definite winner for the waterfront view and private pool on the water. The pool had a heating issue which was responded to within 2 days by the pool guy, but the fix didn't last but a few hours, so in cooler months this would be detrimental to the use of the pool. We never could get the hot tub working, it needed water, which we added, but was in definite need of cleaning and chemicals. We appreciated having pool towels provided and lots of outdoor chairs. Inside conditions are adequate (although things like lamp shades and upholstered chairs are badly sun/age damaged). We did not realize the 3rd bath is actually off the lower pool level (and definitely would not consider it a full bathroom, and only accessible from the outside lower porch) and is not part of the main house/bedrooms. 2 couples of our party had to share a hall bathroom which was unexpected. Similar comment as others with broken kayak paddle and a leaky boat. Working lights on the outside entrance steps would improve safety. We are experienced Keys renters and would return to this property for the outside setting, but only using 2 of the 3 bedrooms for adults."

  • Great spot for the whole family

"It was a pleasant surprise to see the location of this house. It was at the end of a canal of mangroves, not too far of a boat ride to the ocean to do some snorkeling or to go further out to do some fishing. It was also a short drive to John Pennekamp State park. The house was beautifully decorated and had plenty of room for the 12 people we had in our group. The kitchen was great with large fridge and new washer and dryer that we used quite a bit! The pictures of the pool does not do it justice, it was against the house and stay shaded on one side and very clean. They had 2 kayaks that came with the house so we were able to enjoy time kayaking through the mangroves (we found manatees, a mom and 2 babies). The kids (and adults) really enjoyed having a pool table and ping pong table when it got too hot outside. There were 3 bedrooms upstairs (one master with an on suite and the other 2 bedrooms shared a bathroom) and also 2 bedrooms downstairs. My only negative would be there were no bathrooms downstairs, so whoever slept downstairs had to walk upstairs to use the restroom! I would, without a doubt, stay here again. Key Largo is definitely not as 'busy' as a little further south like Islamorada, but still have some great stores and restuarants to visit. I suggest going to Bayside Grille to watch the sunset and sit downstairs, they had great food and the bartenders/waiters did an amazing job keeping up with the crowd. We were taking this trip to spend time together as a family and the location of the house and activities we could do without leaving the house made that possible. Raisa and her husband were very kind in making sure we had a great stay. Thanks again!"

  • Beautiful home, great location!

"The wife and I wanted to take our 3 grandkids to the Keys for their Christmas present and chose Jillian's place in Key Colony Beach though we'd never stayed in the area before. We couldn't be any happier with our decision! The house is beautifully done and was very clean and spacious, even with 3 young kids we never felt the need for more space. The pictures really don't do justice to how roomy and nice this place is. The Cabana Club membership is a great perk with this property, a nice private beach and pool and the food and drinks were beyond reasonable. There's a playground across the street for the kids, the community itself is nice and quiet and very walkable if you're so inclined. A beautiful public beach and any stores you may need to patronize are all within a few minutes drive as is most anything else from fishing to boat rentals etc. All in all we can't say enough nice things about the area in general and the house in particular. We'll be skipping Key West and heading back here for our adult trips in the future."
