  • Very clean, spacious and comfortable home

"We were 2 families of 4 and fit comfortably. Loved the open floorplan and covered deck. Open deck at night allowed for great star gazing. A/C was plenty strong. There is special storage room for beach umbrellas, chairs, and toys. Overall house is well designed and maintained. Highly recommended."

  • Beautiful, comfortable and well equipped property overlooking the scenic bay!

"We loved our time at Sunset Therapy! It is a perfect way to retreat from hectic schedules, enjoy nature and family, and has plenty of good restaurants nearby. Not just sunsets, but also sunrises and most any time of day are gorgeous from the dock just steps away from your spacious back porch. Great for fishermen, photographers, birders, and families. Brent was prompt and friendly! Enjoy a nap in the large hammock on the screened porch while the sound of light waves lapping the shore and the feel of gentle breezes caress your senses. Everything you need is there waiting to make your getaway memorable."

  • Wow! Found our vacation house for years to come!

"This was the first house my family has rented, and were a bit nervous about the whole process. Jim, the owner, took the time to email and call us and answer any and all our questions. The rental process went very smoothly. The pictures don't lie! This house was just as the pictures look on the website (no unpleasant surprises). Ok, the house is actually better than the pictures. House - the house is open concept at it's best. The living room, dinning room and kitchen are one big room, yet cleverly separated (this is where everyone hung out when inside and there was plenty of seating). There is also a big room upstairs that's another great place to hang out (this is where our kids hung out with each other). The house has such an open feeling to it with all the windows. On one side you look out into the bay (where dolphins could be seen every morning) and on the other side you're looking at the ocean. The bedrooms are decent size and no one felt crowded (we had six kids with us). Bathrooms were roomy (enough for mom to change and bath/shower kids with another kid brushing their teeth). The front deck (facing ocean) is like a room itself. Lots of conversation/bonding took place on it. The back deck was used to view the bay. The house is next to other houses, but you couldn't tell when you were in the house (quiet neighborhood). House was very clean and comfortable. Beach - Literally footsteps away. We felt like we had our own private beach. You could look down yonder and see a group of people that was a public beach, but no one was near us. This was nice for we could let the kids spread out on the beach with their stuff/toys and not worry about anyone taking anything. There were crabs, starfish, fish, hermit crabs, and such that could be found during the day. Yet not too many that any of the kids were afraid to swim in the ocean. At night the kids liked to walk the beach with a flashlight and see all the fiddle crabs - like all hundreds of them! We found shells, built sand castles, took walks, flew kites, and just hung out on the beach. The first night at the house, while sitting out on the beach watching the sun set, my husband asked me, "How much do you think Jim wants for the place?" Needless to stay, we love the house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and reluctantly recommend it to others (who may take it the week we want to come back :) Seriously, this house is a treasure."

  • Fantastic views and seclusion!

"We were very impressed on this last minute booking to Oyster Bay. The house sits on a fantastic piece of property with marsh and water views from most rooms and decks. The boardwalk to the floating dock provides more of the same views. The house was clean and accommodating. The owners were easy to deal with and communicated very well. This was a great rental to take the boat to. We fished, crabbed and scalloped multiple days. There is a boat ramp a few streets over which makes it very easy to do. Since we had been to the area many times we already knew some of the best things to do. A short hop to Carabelle and Appalachicola (1 hour) give plenty of shopping/dining options. A little closer is Walkulla Springs (cold water swimming for the kids). We also always visit the Spring Creek Restaurant. Overall, great trip and I highly recommend booking a stay at this house."
