  • Clean and comfortable RV experience

"We had a great stay! RV was clean, smelled nice and we were comfortable. Had all cooking supplies we needed. Bring paper plates so u don't have to wash dishes though ;) Owner provides games that u can play right outside the rv. A little sitting area with chairs, picnic table and fire pit avail for use. Water pressure was not that great, never used an RV so not sure if this is standard, but there is a bath house right next door so not a problem at all. Excellent communication with owner Rachel, she has everything well laid out and explained. There is however no cell service in this area for at&t, but wifi is avail at the lodge, dollar general, and the plaza located right in front of rv park. The rv park sits on beautiful lake with a small white sandy beach. Everyone keeps up their properties very well in the park and like Rachel says everyone is very friendly. The amenities at the rv park are a little neglected, but there is a lodge (clubhouse) with pool/hot tub, playground, horseshoe pit (bring your own), ping pong and pool tables (equipment avail there). Bring your food for cooking because there is not much in way of food for at least 20min. Dollar general, small local grocery, subway and ice cream shop very close by, but that is about it. Laundry mat at plaza at front of rv resort, plan to do your laundry here. Rv has a very small wash/dryer all in one unit, but it is tiny and useful for only a few items. There are 4 springs all within about 30minute drive. Juniper (our fave, beautiful, clean, tons of minnows kids love catching, 4+hr moderate level canoe paddle avail), alexander (next fave, sandy beach, shallow area with 10ft+ deep boil prob 20-30ft diameter, canoe out and back). Silver glen, well preserved natural state, large shallow area for kiddos, Portia potties only, canoe out and back, sand boils. Least fave was salt springs, again a good size shallow area, cool boil, but just not as attractive as others, no canoeing offered here. We greatly enjoyed our stay, had everything we needed, would definitely stay here again if we revisit the area. Kids didn't want to leave!!!"

  • Cozy little retreat

"This condo is centrally located for all the things we had planned to accomplish. It is quiet with friendly neighbors. The unit itself is comfortable for two decorated nicely with a relaxation theme. It is well stocked with convenience items not usually found in a rental but helpful just like your home. We would have preferred a queen sized bed over the full. Although comfortable, it took some getting used to. The HVAC system worked well and is user friendly with the changing weather for the season. Wooden TV trays are handy for a laptop or a meal. Ample parking easy to get in and out. Separate small building with coin operated laundry close to unit. We did not use but there is a nice clean pool and hot tub overlooking the scenic river and boat docks. We enjoyed our stay!"
