  • Awesome Vacation Location

"This was our second year and we are looking forward to our third visit to Mary's House. Awesome location for a quiet family vacation. We enjoyed the kayaks so much last year, that we have purchased some for ourselves and brought them along as well. The addition of paddle boards were a big hit with my son and oldest grandson. We would go out every morning for a 2 to 3 hour kayak/paddle board outing around the island and encountered baby hammerhead sharks feeding along the shore and dolphins at play. The game table was a hit every night. Looking forward to next year. Thank you Theresa for everything."

  • Quaint and Comfy

"Such a sweet and peaceful home. The owner and her sister were very nice and easy to work with. The back porch was the highlight of the trip, beautiful, serene. The first night a huge crane came up to the porch to greet us. We loved the stay. Thank you, Rosemary and Jan."

  • Sweet house near campus!

"We stayed for a few weeks last month and absolutely loved this house. Janis was a great host who was always available to answer our questions and keeps an immaculate home. Best part was how close we were to campus, really quick bike ride and we were at the stadium! 5 Stars!"

  • Great for Gator Games

"Unable to find a hotel for a recent Gator football game a friend of mine recommended checking out VRBO. Not only did we save big money on what we would have spent on a hotel, we had a great place in the country to fish, grill and chill. All amenities were as advertised and pictured, and having the pinball machines available for play was great. Enjoyed a few bonfires, spent time fishing(sadly no luck) and did some canoeing. When it came time for the game we were only about 20 - 30 minutes away. And since the house is east of campus there was much less traffic afterwards on the way back than if we had been out west. I would recommend this over a hotel any time. Also a nice place to get away from it all in a great country setting - would definitely do it again. Thanks, mate!!"
