  • Beach Balcony Bliss

"As a corner unit, the condo offered the benefit of an extra wide view of the ocean, complete with a stunning sunrise every morning. It was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The owner was easy to work with and thorough with instructions and suggestions on what to do and where to eat. (She has a LARGE binder of menus, activities, etc.) The complex is quiet and only a short drive to restaurants, etc. Our grown kids were has happy as we were."

  • Perfect Beach Vacation

"We loved staying at this beautiful oceanfront condo on Amelia Island. With 3 kids aged 16, 12 and 8, we have outgrown hotel rooms. After a day on the beach or swimming in the pools, we had plenty of space for all 5 of us to read/watch tv in the sitting room, play cards in the dining area or watch the ocean from the balcony. The condo had everything we needed and was near fine dining, golf, tennis and a short drive to downtown Fernandina. We highly recommend booking this lovely condo for a perfect beach vacation!"

  • Relaxing stay with wonderful views!

"We were here for a relaxing girls weekend over the New Year's holiday. Everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations! The easy access to the beach was just what we were looking for and we loved the fact that the owners provided beach chairs for us to use. We spotted dolphins one morning and loved watching the turtles that live in the sand dunes in front of the condo. The fireworks on the beach on New Year's Eve courtesy of the Ritz-Carlton next door were a perfect way to end our trip! We would definitely recommend this property! Thank you for sharing it with us."

  • Great for a girlfriend getaway

"Three friends rented the house for a week, and had a very nice time there. It is well-configured for friends, multiple couples, or families. The beautiful beaches are a very short walk, as is the pool. The street is very quiet and there is limited noise from busier Amelia Island Parkway to the rear. A shaded walking/biking path is right there, and goes all the way from the Ritz-Carlton (to the north of the house) to the island's southern tip along the Parkway and A-1A. Lots of beach toys, boogie boards, etc. in the garage. If it were my house, I would also provide some new beach chairs in a mix of heights for younger and older renters. That said, the place could use a good exterior neatening up, and an interior updating and freshening up, thus my rating. If you rent here, I would highly recommend a day trip to Cumberland Island (look at the website before you commit) especially if you are a hiker, a walking tour of historic downtown Fernandina Beach, and a dinner at Espana in Fernandina, along with dinner by the water at Brett's. Bicyclists will enjoy the area as well. This was my third stay on Amelia, and my second in the Summer Beach area, which, while most communities are gated as this one is, doesn't feel as self-contained as the Plantation."
