  • Fantastic stay in this large home

"We really enjoyed our stay in this condo and appreciated the owners thoughtfulness in some of the items in the home. Condo is a short (@2 blocks at most) walk to the beach; tennis courts outside front door and pool on the other side of the tennis courts. Kids had a blast feeding the turtles. Overall great experience and will be renting this condo again"

  • Convenient and clean

"I'll not stay anywhere else! The apartment space was clean, well decorated and the beds were VERY comfortable. It was a very short walk to a beach access, and we were right by the pool/tennis courts. It was nice to have amenities such as a washer/dryer, beach wagon, and boogie board as well. My family and I love this not too commercialized part of Florida and hope to return."

  • GREAT value in Fernandina Beach!

"My family recently spent two weeks at this property and had a great stay. The owner was very good at communicating with us and offered great suggestions for places to eat and things to do on the island. We have four kids and the property was spacious enough for us to hang out, play board games and make dinner. Having the kitchen was great for our family because we could cut expenses and not have to go anywhere. The owner has her artwork throughout the condo and she did a really great job of putting it together. The beach is a couple of blocks away, but it is not a bad walk at all. The biggest issue is crossing a fairly busy 2 way street to get to the beach. We managed just fine and you can also easily drive and park by a restaurant called sliders. It is a bit of a drive to the downtown area (probably 10-15 minutes) but it is a great place to go with really good shops and food. We brought our bikes, but honestly, I am not sure I would if I had a family with small kids. We thought we would use them a great deal since this island is described as being a place where you can bike all over, but in order for us to get any place on bikes from the condo, we would have to ride our bikes on that busy road I mentioned above. Not a great idea for kids, in my opinion. You would be better off renting for one day or two if you really, really want to ride a bike (like at Fort Clinch). This condo is older. The grounds are well-maintained as well as the pool. Although it is a basic pool, my kids loved hanging out there. Overall, we found this condo to be a great value. Couldn't beat the price for a long stay."

  • One of the most relaxing vacations we've had

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The condo was so clean and tidy. The property manager, Gabe is great. He was on top of a small issue, and made sure it was resolved. The owners, Colin and Audrey stayed on top of things as well. We couldn't have asked for better service. The condo was completely stocked with everything we needed. There was an ample supply of linens for our family. This was a quiet neighborhood, great for families. The grounds were well maintained, and the pool was very nice. One day, we rented scooters from a local shop, and rode to the Fort Clinch State Park. This was a great adventure. Overall, I would highly recommend Amelia Island and this property. It was such a relaxing week."
