Recent Fernandina Beach reviews

"I was lucky enough to find this cozy hidden gem in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Walking distance to down town to all the wonderful restaurants, and to the live theater. Boat dockage and charter fishing about 5 or 6 blocks away, plus Brets waterfront restaurant. TV and internet worked flawlessly. Only wished there was a tv in the master bedroom. Local beaches are a short ride by bikes which are provided or about a 5 minutes car ride. I stayed with my small dog and cat which they were very happy and content the entire time in the cottage and on the screened porch. I walked the dog twice a day as they're are sidewalks on most streets. If you take the trolley tour you will appreciate those walks more as you will notice more of the local history. I did like that when I arrived the kitchen glass top table in the photos had been replaced with a wooden dining table, I think that was a plus. The bathrooms were very very clean. I did not cook at the cottage as I ate out the entire time except for snacks. Although they're were many food spices and such that you would hardly have to buy much in that line of items. So I can't speak much on the kitchen, but the wine glasses were very nice and the dishwasher worked very well, as did the washer and dryer. I hope we will be able to stay here again in 2016."

  • Very nice

"The place is really nice and right on the beach. My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. Once I was able to get a hold of the owner, he was nice too. Over all we enjoyed our stay!"

  • Great location and amenities

"Had a great stay at Terraces at Beachside. Jeff's condo was awesome and fully stocked with everything needed. We did notice that the hair dryer and blender did not work due primarily to overuse (those slushy drinks do wear down the blender!) so we bought each and Jeff said he would reimburse us. Great location with proximity to the beach and if anything was missing, the property manager was there to help. The full size kitchen with open floor plan worked really well. Having spent over 30 years vacationing at the Outer Banks, it was really nice not to have to bring linens, cleaning supplies, and some staples. Again, very well stocked condo and would definitely come again. Don't know if this is normal but there was a full bag of ice in the freezer which really helped the first day as it usually takes 24 hours for the fridge to get up to speed when putting in food and frozen items. We had ice for the cooler and drinks right from the start which allowed us to hit the beach as soon as we arrived. Thanks again for a great location and condo."

  • Great Stay in Amelia

"We have been to Amelia a number of times over the years but was our first stay in this villa and we really enjoyed it, the unit was clean and well equipped. The walk to the beach wasn't bad and our family will likely return in the future. The booking experience was easy and the owners are responsive. We recommend it.
