  • Wonderful place to stay!

"Our family of five just returned from a two week stay at this lovely, comfortable townhouse. Gary and Tomi are great to work with and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The unit is VERY well stocked. We eat in more than we go out and this kitchen was one of the best stocked with equipment and supplies that we have every stayed in. Having the beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and other gear saved lots of room in our vehicle and was nice to know we didn't have to pack them. The public beach is very close and has restrooms and shower to rinse off. The pool facility was beautiful with plenty of chairs and shade when you needed to get away from the sun. The island is easy to get around on and would recommend exploring. We visited the state park where Fort Cinch is located, shopped in historic downtown Ferdanina and went kayaking to Cumberland Island. We would recommend to others. Thanks Gary and Tomi for letting us enjoy your unit!"

  • Very relaxing vacation in a great condo

"We had a wonderful time on Amelia Island. Audrey and Colin were wonderful hosts. The condo was very clean and is really spacious. Our little one enjoyed his own bedroom with the loft bed. The living room is very lovely, the couch clean and comfy. We really felt like home. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need. More towels than we could possibly use in one week, beach towels, chairs, soap, washing and dish washing detergent, even a shopping basket to avoid plastic bags… It’s just a shame that other guests do not treat toys, chairs and parasols as if they were their own. A lot of things that are provided by the McCarthys were broken or incomplete. The village overall is well maintained. It's all very clean, neat and green. The grills could be replaced some time and the playground could use some renewal. We came at a bit unfortunate time: the pool was closed for 3 of 7 days (due to maintenance) and the neighbor underneath us, renovated the apartment, so it was quite noisy during the day. As we spent most of the time at the beach, both didn’t bother us and this is nothing Audrey and Colin could have an influence on it. Therefore no reason to give less than 5 stars :-) The beach is only a short walk from the condo and very quiet. Not many guests, very relaxing. Two minor suggestions: A kingsize bed would be brilliant for the master bedroom :-) and it would be very helpful if the guests put the date of opening on things they leave behind, e.g. barbeque sauces in the fridge. We can highly recommend this place. If we ever come again to Amelia Island, we definitely stay here again! Jens, Diana & Philipp from Germany!"

  • Fantastic!

"Clean, beautiful, spacious accommodations. Beautiful views from most every room. Very quite, safe, and family oriented resort. The owner was easy to work with as we planned a last minute get away and arrived to the resort even before he received our cleaning/damage deposit in the mail. We had a perfect Fall Break!"

  • Enjoyed our stay!

"This condo had everything we needed. Although we didn't use the pool each time we walked to the beach we noted how clean and well maintained it and the property were. Debbie the owner was so easy to work with and Gerry the property manager was so friendly and helpful. The McDades Madison, Ga"
