  • Didn't want to leave!

"We love the ocean. When we get to visit Amelia Island, we spend at least six hours every day surfing and playing at Huguenot Memorial Park. We park on the beach loaded with everything we could possibly need that day. This villa was perfect for our needs! It was close to Huguenot. It had a private courtyard to keep our surfboards safely outside. After spending the day on the beach, coming "home" and heading straight to the rocking chairs on the screened porch with an iced coffee was wonderfully relaxing! Then, my two teenage daughters would help me cook dinner. We would all sit around the dining table surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and re-live our day and make plans to go back the next day. (Did I mention we love the beach?!) One evening we were able to entertain our friends for dinner, Jim and Debi who own Fort George Surf Shop. They, too, were impressed with the villa. The kitchen was great, had every small appliance and gadget you could need. The dishes were beautiful. Everything was clean and high quality. Even the drive to the villa through the resort was amazing with all the live oak trees canopied over the road. We truly experienced a vacation! Oh, if you arrive after dark, get clear directions from the security guard. It's like driving through a dark jungle if you aren't familiar with the resort!"

  • The perfect place!!

"My husband and I went to Amelia Island for the first time for a quick weekend get-away. The condo was fabulous - the pictures on the website are so accurate. The condo is crisp, clean and so fresh looking. Madeline was so helpful and easy to work with. The view of the beach is absolutely gorgeous. What an awesome beach area! We loved visiting restaurants and had a great experience at Fort Clinch . We will definitely be back to this "little piece of paradise.""

  • Much Needed Getaway

"Even though tropical storm colin tried to derail this much needed vaca it did not. Mary was so nice I called to tell her we would be arriving a day later in hopes of not driving into the tropical storm and she was so kind she even stated she would refund me for the night missed and I didn't even ask. But on to the review of the house It was great The location is amazing you wake up to a view of the ocean and its crashing waves directly upon walking into the living room. We liked the window unit in the bedroom it reminded us of our first apartment and it cooled it well. The breeze from the ocean made the afternoons and evenings a joy. this place is also just a few short minutes from the historic district, grocery stores and other activities but you never feel like your in the middle of hustle and bustle We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quit relaxing getaway Mary is just a joy to talk to and both our conversations were like I was talking with an old friend . Hope your (Mary) trip to New York goes as well as ours did Thanks"
