  • Excellent Location

"Only steps from the beach and pool, this unit had the access we were looking for. 3 sizable bedrooms with their own bathrooms is a plus. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars to this property is that it could use some updating. Don't get me wrong everything was exceptionally cared for and clean. However, an overall updating of this this property would be a good move at some point in the future. Still the same we would stay there again with out any changes. Several personal touches by the owner and her associates were greatly appreciated, including a walk through upon arrival and multiple texts to make sure we contacted her if we needed anything. If you like a peaceful, quiet beach with a clean, well cared for condo, don't wait. Book it today!"

  • Great for a girlfriend getaway

"Three friends rented the house for a week, and had a very nice time there. It is well-configured for friends, multiple couples, or families. The beautiful beaches are a very short walk, as is the pool. The street is very quiet and there is limited noise from busier Amelia Island Parkway to the rear. A shaded walking/biking path is right there, and goes all the way from the Ritz-Carlton (to the north of the house) to the island's southern tip along the Parkway and A-1A. Lots of beach toys, boogie boards, etc. in the garage. If it were my house, I would also provide some new beach chairs in a mix of heights for younger and older renters. That said, the place could use a good exterior neatening up, and an interior updating and freshening up, thus my rating. If you rent here, I would highly recommend a day trip to Cumberland Island (look at the website before you commit) especially if you are a hiker, a walking tour of historic downtown Fernandina Beach, and a dinner at Espana in Fernandina, along with dinner by the water at Brett's. Bicyclists will enjoy the area as well. This was my third stay on Amelia, and my second in the Summer Beach area, which, while most communities are gated as this one is, doesn't feel as self-contained as the Plantation."

  • One of our best beach condo stays through VRBO!

"I wanted to express my extreme satisfaction with our family’s visit in your condo. Rental Process - I was contacted promptly for a last minute rental and the process of booking the condo was relatively easy with clear instructions of how to arrive. Condo - The property was maintained very well from the beach to the parking lot. Inside the condo clean, organized, tastefully decorated, relaxing, and the closest condo to the beach and both pools in the complex. Favorite thing about the condo, off the master bedroom patio you walk through your own private narrow path between hedges and tall grass that “no one” can see right onto the sidewalk that leads you to the pool or beach walkway with 2 showers stations. Being able to return from the beach via the patio on the ground floor verses weaving back through the front of the condo and stairs was a huge convenience and only takes 2 minutes. Towels dry quickly, sandals kicked off, and kids seashells stayed on the patio verses bringing them inside. Kids Room - They had their own TV so, they could watch kid movies/shows from the twin beds. Theme décor was beach w/ pink flamingo sheets (I had to purchase and located sheets at TARGET FYI - Brand “Pillowfort”) made with material which felt like parachute soft and cool to the touch. Condo View - Most inside condo views are obstructed by patio furniture while inside but, in this condo you can see the beach, walkway and grassy area through the window and the 2 separate patios are off to the side outside the bedrooms. Before my visit, I saw 1 comment made by another renter seeing salt from the ocean on the windows which is clearly unavoidable with direct beach access but, I honestly didn't see the issue or big deal. The Atlantic ocean view is bright & sunny so, they have window sheers to allow you to appreciate the view with the morning sun. I am very particular and I would highly recommend this condo to my family and friends and hope to return soon Places – Cumberland Island, US State Park. We took the Land and Legacy Tour which was expensive but, well worth the cost if you want to see ALL the historical stops, ruins and complete mansion tour. Our guide knew the complete history of the island, families that lived and still remain on the island today. READ Trip Advisor before going for full details. Omni Hotel, Nature Center w/fees (kids made sharks necklaces and 1 hour paddle board marsh guided tour. Fort - tour, biking, beach allow 1 full day"

  • Perfect In Every Way

"The best vacation ever! We visited after Labor Day when the crowds were gone, and many times we had the beach all to ourselves. The rental was immaculate and exactly as advertised. Everything is there except your beach towel and bathing suit. We visited with 2 Westies and they had a great time on the beach and meeting all of the neighbors. Jim and Judy are absolutely awesome hosts!! We will definitely be back!"
