  • A Wonderful Experience

"This was a wonderful experience for our family. A lovely, well appointed condo. Everything that one would want was in place. The view is spectacular and it's wonderful to hear the ocean's waves. Lovely balconies. The property manager was beyond terrific. A spectacular beach to walk any time of the day. We will return! Many times we hope."

  • First Visit to Amelia Island!

"I arranged for a tennis get away for 12 ladies and this was one of the Shipwatch condos that we rented. The condo was very clean and the view was truly amazing. The location was very convenient to the pool and the beach too. The owner went above and beyond with suggestions for our trip to make it a success. He was very helpful in arranging bike rentals, restaurant suggestions and activities on Amelia Island Plantation. He was also very patient with all of the questions I had. We had such a great time we only left AIP 1 time for dinner and found ourselves no wanting to leave again. We will definitely make this an annual adventure!"

  • Nice and convenient property.

"We enjoyed the unit. Liked that each room had its own bathroom. Enjoyed the balcony, walks on the beach, and nearby restaurants and venues. Sliders, Amelia river cruise, salty pelican, the plantation deli, and moon river pizza."

  • Perfect for our needs!

"The 1930's Beach Cottage in Fernandina Beach, while quaint and small, is full of charm! The immaculate cottage is well-maintained and has everything we need. Towels, linens, and even beach toys for the kiddos are all here. The kitchen is well-appointed if you are inclined to cook. The view is beautiful, and the porch is great for afternoon and evening ocean- and stargazing. Just a short walk across the dunes brings you to the beach, and the outdoor shower is convenient. We love watching dolphins frolic in the surf as we relax. While you are there, don't miss the historic Marina Restaurant, frequented by the locals and offering fresh, local seafood. Tasty's has great hamburgers, and be sure you try their milkshakes! Jim and his family are quite proud of the family history represented in this cottage, and love answering questions about the area. Without being intrusive, their friendly service makes us feel right at home. They try to ensure that your stay is pleasant and relaxed. We love coming to this pleasant cottage and hope to enjoy it for years to come!"
