  • Beach Condo Perfection!

"This condo is so perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband and I absolutely loved the beach view and easy access. Literally, we walked out the back door! It was in Immaculate condition and so cute and reasonable. Without a doubt, the next time we are back in Fernandina Beach, this will be the only place we look to book."

  • Nicely appointed condo with a great location and wonderful view!

"We have stayed in the Captain's building before, but never on the top floor. What a difference that makes, very quiet, great views up and down the beach and you can hear the surf all day long. The owner's have taken care to be sure you have every thing you need to make your stay enjoyable. We look forward to staying there again, soon!"

  • Wished we could have stayed longer!

"We were here for 3 nights and 2 days but would have loved to stay longer. There was a great view of the beach from both the master bedroom and the living room area. The fireworks on the beach were shot off at midnight on New Year's Eve right outside this condo! All the appliances we tried worked as well as the internet connection and TVs. The place was exactly like the pictures and would be perfect for two couples. The 2nd bedroom and 2nd bathroom are separated from the main living area by a door to add extra privacy. The Amelia Island area was beautiful and really felt like home as most of the places to eat were local places and there was a welcome lack of "tourist trap" establishments. (If you really like this kind of shop, there were a couple on the island.) We tried two different seafood places and both of them served some of the best seafood we ever had. For those who prefer the national chains, they were available as well if you wanted to drive a bit farther. Grocery stores, drug stores and even a dollar store were all within short driving distances. The pool and beach were both a short walk from this 2nd floor condo. As a frequent VRBO renter, I would rent this place again and would recommend it to friends and family."
