  • Welcoming hideaway close to the beach

"For us as a small family (2 adults, 1 baby), that condo was an excellent choice. Very well equipped, clean, spacious, comfy. Annelise (the owner) always answered very swiftly and even made it possible for us to arrive one day earlier. Location is perfect w/ or w/o kids. Beach access is just across the street, very well maintained pool area just a few steps beside the condo. Small food store and restaurants are just a short walk away. We do highly recommend to visit Matanzas Inlet, as an alternative to the beach. The beach is magnificent, but Matanzas inlet is more quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect holiday location."

  • Relaxing in crowded beach vacation.

"Nicely arranged one bedroom. Plenty of space, well equipped, and just far enough from St. Augustine to keep it in crowded. We loved the big wide open beach! My wife and I run almost every morning. The Matanzas River across the street provides great views from the back of the condo and was nice to look at while running. We recommend visiting the Fort Matanzas National Monument. It is just over two miles South on A1A and it is free with a ferry ride across the river to the fort. You can't beat this place for the price. We had a great week. Our two favorite places to eat are Mango Mango's in St. Augustine Beach where the food is great and priced well, and Matanzas Inlet Restaurant where you can sit outside overlooking the water. Great sunsets there. Thanks for a great time!"

  • Great property

"Me and my family spent the last 4 days at this property and it's been fantastic. The house is exactly how it appears in the pictures. It was about a 5 minute walk to Butler Beach, which is a fantastic beach. There was no seaweed and the sand was soft and white. The beds are super comfortable and so was the big couch in the living room. There were only a few things I didn't like about the property: there is very limited driveway space and you have to drive over grass to get to the actual driveway pad. The second is that the A1A is actually a pretty busy road. It was hard to cross the street to go to Redfrog and McToads (a great restaurant by the way) because there was so much traffic. Finally, the house was not stocked with very much. You get silverware, plates, bowls and a few pots and pans. We had to go buy simple things like a wine bottle opener and toilet paper. Other than that we really enjoyed the property."
