  • Great stay

"This is one LARGE condo, I think 2 units were combined to make it, PLENTY of space, 2 real bedrooms away from the kitchen and living area, it was perfect to close the bedroom door to rest while others can use the kitchen and living room. Yes, there is a view of the ocean form both bedrooms and the living room. The space is used very very well. Kitchen is very spacious and away from everything- we really liked that all the kitchen activities stayed around the corner, while the living room always felt like a vacation. Absolutely enjoyed the washer/dryer in the condo, we used it many times, very convenient to have it in the room just like at home. The balcony is very large, we spent lots of time out on the balcony as well. The condo was indeed well equipped- from kitchen dishes, pots/pans, laundry detergents to linens/towels/extra pillows. We did appreciate all the spices and ketchup/sauces in the fridge, great idea, because somethings you need just a dash of salt or a squeeze of mayo and you don't really want to buy the whole bottle from the store. The owners have extras which sometimes come in handy like birthday candles, flashlights, kids games, etc. I did read 2 book during the stay, the books are also in the condo. The views were amazing, we had 2 days of dense fog in the beginning of our stay and having the palm trees and blue pool was a nice view otherwise we would only see the white gaze. Not a deal breaker but I would consider changing the carpet and living room furniture, seems a bit outdated. The only real problem we had is the shower head in the guest bathroom, it worked semi ok for a couple of days, but after that it barely let the water out. Your condo is so nice and I can see you put a lot of love and pride into it, please fix the shower head to make it perfect! The property itself is ok, kind of far from the stores and pier but it depends what you are looking for on a vacation, this spot is perfect if you want a quite get away. I do wish the pool was heated, it is NOT. So swimming in winter is out of question. Hot tub would also be nice, there is not much to do at the beach during the cold months, hot tub could allow more enjoyment. Overall we enjoyed the stay, Thank you for sharing your home with us. • Awesome House, Great Location, Fun Stay!

"We rented this house for a quick New Years getaway to see the Tax Slayer Bowl in Jacksonville. Had an awesome time. My wife and 6 kids had plenty of room to spread out. Beach was great. Couldn't ask for a better time."

  • Our overall stay was great! I have one major complaint

"The townhouse was great, comfortable, clean and well equipped with all the things that you would need in a home. I have a huge problem with the person who cleans the pools/ maintenance. My husband and brother in law took our kids (age 6 & 10) swimming in the morning before we checked out. Whoever takes care of the pools in the complex put shock in the pool that morning. Thankfully our kids did not open their eyes in the water, but my husband and brother in law did. Before they could even get back to the townhouse, their eyes were burning. Burning so bad that were tears running down their faces. We have a pool, and we do not let anyone swim in the pool for 24 hours after we shock it. There should have been a warning sign or do not swim in the pool sign. We had to stop and buy eye wash. They went swimming at 9:30 am. It is now 6:30 pm and their eyes are still burning. I can't imagine how are kids would feel if they had opened their eyes in the water. Really irresponsible on Summerhouse's part. We loved the townhouse, but not sure if we will be going back."

  • Very Enjoyable and great location

"It was a rough start with Hurricane Hermine coming up the path that we were suppose to take to get to our last summer vacation for the year! We made it there and Jane was very responsive. We had unit 209 because the rest were reserved. Although the unit is small you can not beat the ocean front view . Just to wake up and see the ocean and sit outside with my coffee and enjoy the beach all day was just the R&R my family needed. My daughter made friends at the pool and never bored. We enjoyed the boogie board.. she is quite the surfer and it was nice to have all beach chairs and umbrella. We liked the location and it was only 4 miles to publix and starbucks. We went to south beach grill next door and that was very tasty and there was a small market and dining options all around. But the best thing was that view! Thank you Jane and for your follow up ! I am in the hospitality business and you truly embody that spirit of service! Thank you!"
