  • I couldn't have asked for a better place...Seriously!

"My family and I have been vacationing in this area for the past 7 years. We always stayed on a different part of the island in search for a perfect place. I think we found it. Key-less access was perfect. Upon walking in, you are greeted with the cleanest condo we have ever rented. Doug thought of everything. Chairs, boogie boards, skim boards, sand toys, etc. My pet peeve is PVC patio furniture...not here! Nice Adirondack chairs. Plenty of living room seating. Upstairs had the perfect room for the kids - two queen beds with TV and video games. The master was also perfect. The memory foam mattress was fantastic! Seriously, there is nothing better. Then you move out to the pool area - which was steps from the front door. Through the pool area and you are right there on the beach! Having the option of going to play on the beach, and then go jump in the pool when you are heating up...the ultimate in convenience. FYI. I am not a family member, nor did I get paid for this :) I know I have found something special when the wife and both kids repeatedly express how happy they are with this condo and they want the same unit next year! I think the goody bag was the icing on the cake! Bang up job, Castro's! Very well done."

  • Great property

"Me and my family spent the last 4 days at this property and it's been fantastic. The house is exactly how it appears in the pictures. It was about a 5 minute walk to Butler Beach, which is a fantastic beach. There was no seaweed and the sand was soft and white. The beds are super comfortable and so was the big couch in the living room. There were only a few things I didn't like about the property: there is very limited driveway space and you have to drive over grass to get to the actual driveway pad. The second is that the A1A is actually a pretty busy road. It was hard to cross the street to go to Redfrog and McToads (a great restaurant by the way) because there was so much traffic. Finally, the house was not stocked with very much. You get silverware, plates, bowls and a few pots and pans. We had to go buy simple things like a wine bottle opener and toilet paper. Other than that we really enjoyed the property."

  • Fantastic Location

"Curt, Evi with our adult son and our little Rikki-Ricardo stayed at MiCasa the last week in May and we loved each and every minute of it. Our family goes back and forth from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Coast and we are always torn as to which coast we prefer. This time it was definitively Matanzas Inlet. We loved the house, the dog friendly deck, the comfy master bed and the views from each window. The only problem were the winding stairs. This conveyance is best avoided if you are frail or otherwise physically impaired. Our dog however managed to run up and down in no time at all. Bring your own hair dryer if you care about hair maintenance. Ha. If at all possible we would love to return in September. Thanks, Barry. Curt & Evi P. from Dunnellon, Florida"
