  • Great Retreat for New Year's.

"We always look for someplace in the country to spend New Years with our close friends. This house was perfect for two couples with two king bedrooms. We enjoyed a roaring fire in the fireplace, nice walks in the neighborhood and clean, comfortable accommodations. We did not realize until we got their that there was no DVD player which is usually essential to our holiday plan. Luckily our friend was able to connect his laptop to the TV and play our DVDS that way. When we needed some other things, the owners were kind enough to come over to drop things off. There is a lovely view of the lake and a nice dock to hang out or fish on."

  • Relaxation at its finest!

"All the comforts of home with a beautiful picturesque setting. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Plenty of room for our family and then some. Our visit was Christmas week, being northerners temps were still warm and we really enjoyed being on the water. The kids loved playing in the sand, kyaking, and watching the gorgeous sunsets from the yard. Definitely, an enjoyable break from the snow back home. So besides the slightly musty oder when we arrived (probably just from being closed up for a while), it was worth the affordable price. We would love to rent this home again in the near future."

  • Debbie

"Rented the lake house for a family vacation and it was very nice had everything you needed and was close enough to Starke that you could go out for a family meal. The renters were friendly and eager to show you around and answer any of your questions. The only down side is that you cannot launch a boat, there are no public access ramps on Kingsley. We had fun fishing, kayaking and just relaxing in and out of the water."

"Heather was very accommodating and the house was very clean. The house is secluded yet easy to get to. Will stay again. Thanks!"
