  • Love, Love, Love Mi Casa!!!

"My husband and I and our 2 teenage boys stayed for the week at Mi Casa. We absolutely loved the place. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and very welcoming. Everything about the place and our week there was positive, we found nothing negative about the place. Barry has everything you would need to stay there. We loved our balcony off our bedroom where we could just open the curtains and see the ocean view. The deck was awesome! Every morning we would sit outside on the deck and watch the sunrise while our lab, Luke, ran around on the deck and/or the ocean. We basically had our own private beach all week. We arrived Saturday and Sunday there was maybe 10 people on the beach. Monday - Friday there was no one. Our lab was basically off his leash all week playing in the water, chasing the birds, and taking walks with us. But, if someone happened to be walking on the beach we did leash him. We loved how the tide was out every morning and we could walk way out onto the "sandbar" area and look for shells. We found lots of beautiful and different looking shells. The beach area is white sand, very nice and clean beach. Barry stopped by Saturday afternoon once we arrived. He introduced himself and asked if we were okay and if we needed anything. My boys did mention there was no ESPN to watch the College World Series, and Barry had ESPN turned on for us. That was so kind of him to do that!! My boys really appreciated that! I can go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay. This was definitely one of the best vacations we have had and we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Barry!!"

  • FABULOUS FAMILY VACATION!

"This was our first visit to Summerhouse Condo and Crescent Beach and we are so excited that this now has become our yearly family vacation location!! Everything about our time at Summerhouse Condo was great. The owner was extremely helpful in with all of our questions and needs. The condo is very comfortable and was perfect for our family. The location could not be better. Immediate access to the pool and beach. The beach was one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to. Close to restaurants and fun things to do. Our family LOVED it here!! Can't wait to go back to make more memories."

  • Fantastic Location

"Curt, Evi with our adult son and our little Rikki-Ricardo stayed at MiCasa the last week in May and we loved each and every minute of it. Our family goes back and forth from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Coast and we are always torn as to which coast we prefer. This time it was definitively Matanzas Inlet. We loved the house, the dog friendly deck, the comfy master bed and the views from each window. The only problem were the winding stairs. This conveyance is best avoided if you are frail or otherwise physically impaired. Our dog however managed to run up and down in no time at all. Bring your own hair dryer if you care about hair maintenance. Ha. If at all possible we would love to return in September. Thanks, Barry. Curt & Evi P. from Dunnellon, Florida"

  • Great location for nature lovers

"This beach house at Matanzas Inlet was as described, and met our needs. This was a spacious one bedroom home, perfect for two adults, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The decor was unique, with beachy wood carvings. We loved the large deck where you could sit in the sun on the west side in the afternoon sheltered from the onshore breeze or warm up in the morning sun on the south side. We could take a short walk across the road to a beach accessible at low tide, or a long walk/short drive to the beach at Matanzas inlet. There you can choose from the intercoastal side on cooler days, or the ocean side. Both have white sand beaches, and were generally quite quiet. You can walk a loop across the bridge, around the inlet to the ocean, and back. Many shells! The location was halfway in between St. Augustine and Palm Coast, with one restaurant within walking distance, and the nearest other restaurants about six miles away. It took about twenty minutes to drive in to St. Augustine, and the nearest grocery stores were eight to nine miles away, so we spent some time driving. Many nature preserves were nearby, including the River to Sea preserve and Washington Oaks state park. There was walking trail along nearby route 206 as well. We went to the farmers' markets at Marineland on Sunday's and the Ampitheatre on Wednesdays on Anastasia Island. The owners were very helpful, informing us about Kennedy Space Center rocket launches visible from the upper deck, and sharing a catch of fish. We were very comfortable and would rent it again."
