  • Very Nice Condo and Resort

"We stayed here the first week in July. It was me and my wife, son/daughter in-law and 4 grandkids. Condo is just as described and as shown in its marketing pictures. It is large (3BDR) and the third bedroom is off by itself, so it provided lots of privacy and quiet. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked, really it was awesome. The resort of Ocean Hammock is very nice, secluded and well maintained. Two pools, one by the ocean and one by the lake. The lake pool was the kids pool with a small splash areas, that they loved. Both pools offer bar and food service. The management company, VRBO was very easy to deal with. Our only two minor complaints were: 1. You could not take any drinks or food to the pool, you would be hassled by the staff. 2. There are no BBQ grills anywhere on the property. We would stay here again."

  • So impressed!

"We loved so many things about this condo! The oversized porch (with seating for 10!) that looked directly out onto the ocean was our favorite hangout spot! All of the beds were super comfy with really nice linens. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook a family meal. Loved that there was a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. It was so nice to have a full bath for every bedroom. The living room was really comfy for a great family movie night and the WiFi was wonderful for Netflix movies. The beaches and pools were wonderful. The building is right next to the boardwalk over to the beach and beach towels are supplied in the condo. Additionally we had a couple of questions about the condo during our stay, and Judy was very quick to respond to my emails with the info we needed! It was so nice to deal directly with the owner rather than a rental company that adds all kinds of crazy fees to the total cost of rental. Places to eat: Osteens in St Augustine for delicious butterfly shrimp, Conch House for Tiki Hut seating on the intercoastal and great crab legs, JTs Seafood Shack for great seafood and homemade sauces, the Metro Diner for the 12 inch pancakes!, and Coco Mango for froyo!!! Go to Marineland! It is well worth it to do the Touch and Feed with the Dolphins and the behind the scenes tour that takes you thru the history and dolphin conservation!"

  • Beautiful house!

"This is a gorgeous house! Very well shocked, especially the kitchen. We stayed Thanksgiving week. The only issues we had was the A/C was preset to 78 degrees, way too warm for us. It would allow u to turn it down but eventually it returned to 78. It got old int the middle of the night waking up in a pool of sweat. We had issues with the hot tub heating up. It was suppose to reach 102 degrees. The highest it ever reached was 100 the first 2 days. After that it kept getting lower and lower and the last day was in the 80's. Called for maintenance and they came out but it didn't get fixed by the time our trip was over. That was a bummer for us because the hot tub was one of the main reasons we rented this house. Overall I would stay here again. Beautiful house in a beautiful location!"

  • The Best Beach Stay!

"My fiancee, children and I had a fabulous stay in your condo. The condo was clean with updated kitchen appliances and had just about everything we needed for our stay. We had dinner a few times on the large balcony. There is a fantastic view of sunrise and dolphins swimming early morning:-); just a short, less than 15 minute walk across the street(although, I would suggest you drive to the boat club), you can catch the most beautiful sunsets....and see more dolphins! We were able to enjoy long beach walks early morning and early afternoon before high tide, and it was very easy to navigate down the coquina rocks. Beach chairs, umbrella, some toys, and plenty of beach towels are there, so no need to bring your own. The owner, Marie, is really kind and always available by phone if you need to reach her. I can say so much more, but I don't want to turn this into a dissertation:-) oh yeah, having no Wi-fi in the unit was not a problem for us, because it gave us more family time and less time on electronics, but if you need to do work you can go to the lobby. This was the perfect beach location for my family, because we were far enough away from congested, touristic areas, yet close to many places to eat and fun activities for the children. We would definitely visit again!"
