  • Perfect location

"We stayed here over July 4th - 3 couples. The house is nicely laid out, with lots of space to relax and a good sized kitchen. They have chairs and umbrella's to borrow for the beach. Only downside of the layout is one couple got single beds. Location is perfect - 5 ish mins walk to the beach, 3 mins to Publix for supplies and two bars / restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We loved Hammocks Wine Bar. JT's was awful, but then maybe it just isn't our thing. And the beach was great - not crowded, water was perfect. Ideal for kids as very shallow. Driving wise Plam Coast is 10 mins, Flagler 15 and St. Augustine 25. An Uber XL to St.A is $60, $40 back if you are making a night of it."

  • Could not ask for better accomodations

"Once again the condo was immaculate and tastefully and comfortably furnished. Cheryl and Davey provide everything you need for the beach and virtually every amenity inside the condo including toiletries you might forget. Right beside a beautiful beach and relaxing pool area. Close to many great restaurants and a Publix so that you can bring in food for breakfast and lunch and not cut into relaxing time. If you want a great meal with great service try the Raintree. Also only a short drive to Old St. Augustine where the town's history is revealed. Thank you again for a great week!"

  • Perfect for our family!

"This condo was perfect for our family. We had 6 of us that came in to go to the Jags/Packers game and things couldn't have gone any smoother. Ann was very responsive and provided us with everything we needed for an easy stay. There was plenty of room for all of us, and everything was extremely clean and well kept. Access to the beach was a short walk across the parking lot, and historic downtown Fernadina is a short 5 minute drive West. As a frequent traveler and vacation renter, I cannot say enough about this property and owner. Great place! Chris Denver, CO"

  • Marvelous Estate/Retreat

"Are you ready to escape to the beauty of “Old” Florida. The way Florida used to look before strip malls and concrete covered over her history and majesty. Then you have chosen the right place with this rental. It begins in the front yard which is draped in giant Live Oaks, wearing their moss like a long beautiful mane of hair, testaments of strength and time. You are greeted with gentle breezes off the lake in the morning, as you have your coffee on the large covered veranda. You will glance across the lake, and see the white blooms on the lily pads, dancing in the mid-morning sun. The sandhill cranes fly in to feed on the acorns and along the water’s edge, tall and prehistoric looking. The blue heron, white egret, and mallard ducks, all make their visits to the premise, a wonder to behold. Each evening you will be greeted with amazing sunsets, dining on the table at the dock as the water reflects the brilliant pinks and oranges of the setting sun. You will watch the fish skip across the surface of the lake and if you are lucky, you will see the frogs hopping and swimming in and around the grasses along the bank. Drink your wine or cast a line as you enjoy the end of your day. The house is roomy and comfortable and evokes images of the Southern lifestyle of yesteryear. Privacy abound and extremely peaceful, at least in the month of April. The kitchen is very large and comfortable to work in. The bed was most comfortable though I only used 1 of the 10 offered. There is a TV in every room but I was so fascinated with the outdoors, I did not even turn one on. AT&T cell service was 4 bars all week and internet worked great. Things to Note: The a/c is pre-programmed to stay at 74 degrees Fahrenheit or above which can make sleeping uncomfortable for some. I might suggest bringing some fans, they also help with keeping mosquitos away on the porch. Bring your bug spray or fan, this is Florida. The sign marking the house is parallel with the street so easy to miss."
