"This villa was outstanding! It is extremely clean and accommodating. The place easily sleeps 4 and access to the beach couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay here again and plan to. :-)"

  • Great property - great owner

"The house is well-kept, with most everything you could need. From pots and pans to beach umbrellas and toys, it's probably already there. If it's not, the owner will likely get it for you in a day or two if you just ask. It's up-to-date with multiple flat-screen TV's, cable, internet/wifi, new kitchen appliances, and central A/C that works great. Downstairs you'll find kayaks (and life-jackets), boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, and a variety of beach toys for the littlest kids. Bring your clothes and some food, and you'll be set. The interior layout is very convenient. The kitchen overlooks the dining and living rooms, and the view continues out through the sliding glass doors to the deck and ocean beyond. Someone commented that they felt they were on a cruise ship when they looked outside. Even if you are stuck doing dishes, the window over the sink looks out over the marsh, with beautiful sunsets. Each side of the house has two bedrooms and a bath. (We didn't rent the downstairs). The kids' room, with the four bunk beds, was great. Furnishings and linens are not fancy but all in good shape, and the house was clean on arrival. The decor is "beachy" without being tacky. Outside, there is a large driveway with plenty of parking (at least six cars). The exterior could use a little sprucing up, but the rest of the house more than makes up for that first impression. The full-length upper deck is accessible from both front bedrooms and the living room and it always has a nice breeze in the afternoon and evening. There is a another deck area downstairs, but we didn't use it much. Access to the beach is quick, though for those with mobility issues, or who are just unsteady on their feet, you should know there is a stairway down to the ground level, and then a moderately steep bank of soft sand (though its only a couple of feet high) to negotiate. Our younger and middle-aged guests had no problems with it, though some older guests needed a steadying hand. The stretch of beach itself is great. Few people, wide at low tide (but still usable at high tide), with firm sand to play on and enough shells to hunt to entertain the kids. Finally, we can't say enough about the owner. From our long initial phone call, to the multiple emails walking us through the rental process, to his near-immediate responses to our questions or concerns, he was great. He is proud of his house, and it shows."

  • Perfect!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seawatch. It's beautiful, spacious, relaxing, right on the beach. Seawatch is right between Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine, so in either direction there is plenty to do…golfing, shopping, sight seeing, water activities, finding sharks teeth, riding bikes and taking walks on the beach, short drive to Atlantic Beach area where there's lots of restaurants and shops and walking around enjoying the town, grocery store nearby…and MANY great restaurants, with Medure and Mezza and Caps being some of our favorites. Great sunrises and sunsets too! Something to do for everyone and every age! There were toys and beach equipment available also. Although, we enjoyed many days and nights just hanging out on one of the many porches watching the ocean and dolphins and pelicans. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything you might need for your stay. it was totally ready for our arrival! Great property if you have a large family or visitors during your stay - sleeps up to ten people. Has a "suite" (living area, with small kitchen, private bath, pull-out sofa bed) that can be closed off from rest of house. Each bedroom faces the ocean. And there's an elevator for those who can't or don't want to do stairs. We have to mention Dan, the property manager who was very helpful and prompt with any questions we had or anything that needed to be taken care of during our stay. The property was always well maintained and neat. We would definitely recommend Seawatch for a few days, or a few months!"

  • Peaceful Oasis

"This is our second stay at this beautiful beachfront home. This house is immaculately cared for, and lacks nothing. The fenced in yard is ideal for your dogs, and you really can't get closer to the beach. I have to say, we never left the porches or the beach. We played games, read, relaxed and even ate our meals outside to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. Do not hesitate to rent this on your next beach vacation. All the comforts of home, much space to spread out, and a home where you can truly spend the entire week without having to go anywhere except to get groceries. You will never want to leave like we felt!"
