  • Spectacular spot to enjoy the beach!

"The house is gorgeous! Beautiful views of the ocean. Very spacious kitchen and family room. Three of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with showers which are very nice. The 4th "bedroom" has just two single beds. No closet, no bathroom, no other furniture. Only really suitable for a couple of kids who can share a bathroom. There is also a half-bath next to the kitchen. The back patio was beautiful, but absolutely no shade, so in the middle of August, it was pretty hot to sit out there. There is a nice raised wooden walkway down to the beach. There are very few other people on the beach, which is fabulous. Amazing sunrises. Lots of pelicans & osprey to watch. Also, two tortoises who grazed on the back lawn in the afternoon. The kitchen was well appointed except very short on cooking pots, if you want to make dinner for eight. I wound up buying pots and baking pans at Target/Publix. Overall I would definitely recommend this beautiful beach house!"

  • Ocean in the backyard

"The value of this beach house is its location. The beach and Atlantic Ocean are directly behind the house and the back of the house is well designed with large windows and a covered back porch to take advantage of the ocean view. The house is not large or luxurious but functional. It only has two actual bedrooms. There is a small office that has a small bed and another pull out bed underneath it. There is a couch in the main living area that has a bed but not ideal. There are plenty of towels and dishes. The house is located on a 55mph highway and there were no outside lights that we had access to which made it difficult to enter and leave in the dark. There is a lower level and a garage but renters do not have access. The house is located a long way from the rental agency which was no fun after a long day of driving. I would recommend this property because of the location on the beach. It is amazing to see and feel the immensity and beauty of the Atlantic Ocean for 10 hours a day."

  • The Artsea cottage is "cute overload":) It was a wonderful place to stay!

"We loved our stay and the house is almost perfect for a couple or two couples. The appliances are a little dated(no ice maker) but it wasn't a big deal. The steps down to the beach are on the other side of the house next door but again, no bigge. Master suite was great! Wouldn't recommend for small kids as the bulkhead has no fence and it's a pretty good drop to the beach. All in all we loved it and are already planning next year's visit!"

  • Perfect!

"We rented "Sand Dance" for a family getaway and will definitely be back. This home can be rented as a 5/3 or a 3/2 and since we had 10 people, we rented the entire house. It was absolutely perfect for our group. The downstairs 2/1 area was quite and gave a few of the couples some privacy and a good place to get away from the chatty guests upstairs. There is a full kitchen downstairs also so we were able to stock snacks and drinks in both kitchens. We even made a full dinner for the group and it was nice to have two ovens to use for baked lasagna and homemade cakes. Best of all, having the downstairs area provided accessibility for the grandparents so they were able to enter and enjoy the home without climbing stairs. There is a nice deck with a picnic table and two outdoor showers on the first level. Best of all there is a private boardwalk from the first level with only six steps to get down to a nice wide beach so everyone had the ability to enjoy the beach as well. The main level of the home is the second floor and has a beautiful open fireplace between two large sitting areas. The back of the home has large windows offering a spectacular view of the ocean. Since it was a little chilly, we enjoyed sitting in this area to watch the sunrise and the full moon rise over the ocean while we were there. You can even look out the front windows and catch an unobstructed view of the sunset as well since there are no homes across A1A, only the Guana River State Preserve and inter-coastal. The main level has a large kitchen and dining area with bar stools on the open counter and a large table perfect for family dinners. There is also a very nice deck off the main level with some built in benches and another picnic table to enjoy the outdoors. Finally the third level has a spectacular master bedroom and bath. The large king bed faces glass doors that open to a private deck, so you can just open the curtains and watch the sunrise from bed. Privacy is not an issue since only the beach and ocean are in front of you, and while we were there we rarely saw another person on the beach. The master bath is a site to see also, with a beautiful shower, and a separate claw foot bathtub you can soak in while you take in the ocean scenery. We were fortunate to have unseasonably warm temperatures during the day, so we enjoyed the outdoors all day long. Even if the weather had not been amazing, we still would have enjoyed this home because it was big, bright and beautiful."
