  • Cool Cabin

"We enjoyed a week there in late March. Property - The cabin itself is nice but more quaint than anything. The condition seemed to be maintained but in a more rustic way (examples - some florescent lights, 70's feeling bathrooms and even electrical outlet covers missing in spots on baseboards). We had to dig around some to find spare toilet paper and paper towels and there was only 1 or 2 dishwasher pods. And we got a BYO ice message. The lot may be 2 acres but it is a narrow and long 2 acres with a large pond/ swamp - so don't assume a wide and spacious lot. I think there is smaller out-parcel cabin in the very back the owner's son lives but he was respectful and we only saw him once when he wanted to water plants and he texted in advance. Area - It is about a 1 mile walk to the public beach at Mickler Rd. There are sidewalks but you must cross a very busy road at A1A .. I didn't really understand that looking at the map. It backs up to a nature area you can see on the map but most of the property along Neck Rd was private homes so you can not really see the nature area without feeling like you are trespassing on someone's property. We used the public beach down the road in the Guana Nature Preserve it was much less crowded but with a $3 parking fee."

  • Bright and cheery house!

"We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The inside is very inviting, bright and clean! The outside a little dated but we didn't mind that at all. The only complaint I have is it was not very well stocked. Plenty of plates and cups but no beach towels or even pot holders. My husband would love to have a grill to use. Really my only complaint though. Plenty of beach chairs and my girls loves the beach toys. Would have liked a garage door opener. Would have made things just a bit easier but noting we couldn't figure out. Would definitely stay here again."

  • A Great Beach House

"The location is great, the beach is beautiful, with the exception of weekends we were the only people on the beach most of the time. The house has everything you will need and is comfortably furnished. The house was clean and neat and it was easy to keep it that way. All the appliances are full sized, refrigerator, dish washer, washer & dryer. St. Augustine is close by and there is a Publix just to the north and one to the south. We loved our stay and will be back!"

  • Truly a piece of Paradise

"House and location awesome. Weather and beach fantastic. Could not have asked for better accommodations. Beds huge and comfortable, kitchen fully stocked for in-house cooking. Beach views from nearly every room and the upper and lower decks were great for relaxing and beach watching, including occasional dolphins. Furnishings like new and comfortable. Overall experience met and exceeded expectations. Historic St. Augustine tours are one of a kind. Can't wait to go back!"
